Hello there, Antonio and I live in a villa with a very big (website hidden) the end of it, there is a red wooden cabin (also see “Broken Wheel –the cabin”), and just next to our house we have another, smaller, house, which we like to call “cottage”. It has an independent entry gate and a small courtyard/garden with a little covered porch. The house has a fireplace and a kitchenette, equipped with cooker, oven, fridge and freezer. There are two rooms in the house: one is let permanently to a young Italian hostess who is often away flying, and the other is for airbnb. The room has a double bed and a kettle; coffee and tea are complimentary. The bathroom is shared.
Wi-fi included. We offer breakfast, but are also available for fixing lunch and dinner upon request. We also have four horses and a foal, and you can book a ride with Antonio if you like. We are a few minutes drive from the airport and five minutes drive from the beach, surrounded by fields. There is a bus stop nearby, but, besides providing shuttle service from and to the airport, we are happy to help our guests driving them to the beach or anything near. We do our best to please your expectations and desires. If you have your own car, Rome and Ostia are very easily connected.
You can completely customize your stay at our place: you can have your own space and privacy and only see us when you need us, or you are welcome to share our daily activities and meals with us. We love to make new friends.
Hope to see you soon!

I had a great stay over at the cottage. Many thanks for arranging my cab to the airport in the early morning!
Very helpful hosts and everything was there I needed!
La chambre était confortable et silencieuse. Pour 10€ Camilla nous a conduit jusqu'à l'aéroport à l'horaire de notre choix ce qui a grandement facilité notre organisation
This place was a perfect private place to stay near the airport. Camilla was always so sweet in her emails and explained everything really well. Inthe morning I used there car service and found the driver to be very helpful. Nice and quaint
The hosts (I had contact with Antonio and Franca), are very nice people. I felt very welcome and they are both very helpful nice people. Franca in particular is an amazing lady and she made me feel very cozy.
This location is ideal for those with travel schedule constraints, due to the proximity with the airport you can be sure you are within seconds almost to the airport. The service they provide for daily pick up is very handy considering the inaccessibility of the location otherwise (originally I thought I could walk the 3 Km to the airport but the roads are not for pedestrians), so having that service is quite nice.
I recommend this location.
Our host was not available in person but we got to meet her mother Franka. She was very warm and welcoming. In later phone contacts with Camilla she was able to help us solve a difficult problem. Very accommodating.
Aunque estuve muy poco tiempo, Camilla hizo que todo fuera muy sencillo y cómodo para mi. Conocer a mamá Franca ha sido una linda experiencia. Un lugar lleno de magia.
The cottage is very cozy and a wonderful place to unwind if traveling out of Rome. It's conveniently located near the airport for those that miss their flight or are worried about time. Antonio and Franca picked us up from the airport in no time which was great, and even took us to a local supermarket to grab some food for the day. The kitchen and appliances all work great, and was a fun experience making our own Italian coffee with the moka. The area felt safe and secluded in the lovely Italian countryside. My only complaint would be the unknown siren (loud public service siren) that proceeded throughout the night. If I had known ahead of time that this was a normal occurrence it would have been better than wondering if the siren was something we should worry about. Other than that it was a pleasing and relaxing stay.
Dear Sean, I have no clue what that siren was and no, it has never occurred before. It is definitely not a normality. I think it was the alarm of one the villas nearby, and it has actually kept going on and off the whole day after you were gone, but then it stopped and we haven't heard it ever since.
I am very sorry about that, but it definitely was something beyond control!

Antonio and I met at a line dancing night, and got married in cowboy hats and boots less than a year after that in Columbia,MO. We love animals: I go crazy for dogs and Antonio has an insane passion for horses, thus our big, furry, family: two horses, a foal and a mini horse. We also have two couples of parrots living with our mini horse Mou.
We now have an adorable baby son called Liam, who was born two months premature and now enjoys open air and company.
We collect magnets and line dance, and we have the dream, one day, to move to Wyoming, or Texas, in a ranch.
My mom Franca lives next street but is always around to help us with everything. She will cook the meals on the menu using her fresh grown veggies of her garden and the olive oil made by our parents in law, and will drive you to the airport if you need early morning rides.
We will all be happy to meet you and will do our best to make you feel at home with friends!
