Neighborhood highlights

Azur is located in a quiet neighbourhood near coastal road in Newquay.
Newquay is a small town, situated on the Atlantic Coastline, well known as a tourist destination, being Cornwall's premier Seaside resort, with its micro-climate and stunning coastline of golden sandy beaches, famous for the great rolling surfing waves. Newquay offers a choice of a different beautiful sandy beach for every day of the week - all within walking distance. It has a small fishing harbour with its daily boat trips, an eclectic mix of shops, restaurants, bars and small cafes, theatre and cinema. It has much to offer as a holiday resort, whether it be relaxing on the beach, or rolling in the surf. There is the beautiful South west coastal path winding up and down along the lofty cliff tops offering all walkers breathtaking views.

In and around Newquay there are many tourist attractions and fun events for children. A great way to get around the town is to take the seasonal road train offering hop-on and hop-off services to visit the local sites eg the Trenance Gardens & Boating Lake, the Zoo, Pirates Quest etc. Newquay offers many sporting activities from surfing, sailing, kayaking, fishing, golf, horse-riding etc. On the doorstep is Tolcarne Beach with its own surf school. Further afield, by car there are other attractions like Trerice Country Manor House, Lappa Valley Steam Railway, Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Tintagel Castle and Cornish Tin Mines at Chapel Porth etc..

There are some wonderful places locally to dine and eat fine food, fresh fish etc. There is on the doorstep Tolcarne Beach with its own restaurant/bar and nearby in Newquay there is The Butcher's Bistro (great for seafood). Also the Harbour Restaurant in Newquay overlooking the harbour and bay. Lusty Glaze Beach has its own bar (with weekly live music sessions) and restaurant on the beach - dine and watch the beautiful sunset. There is the Old Albion Inn at Crantock which offers a great menu. Or should you fancy something quite simple there is Rick Stein's fish and chips over at Fistral Beach, Newquay. Plus an array of many other restaurants and bars nearby.
