There are many other infos about directions, house rules, groceries and other points of interest in the neighborhood, in the other sections of the listing.
There is only 2 rules that I find important:
1 - The apartment has hard wood floors and the building is old (phone number hidden) was not the best year for walls's soundproofing. So I would appreciate that my guests don't walk in the apartment with leather shoes (hard soles). They are hard for wood floors and really noisy in the stairs. By the same time, try to not run in the stairs, especially evenings and nights. Slippers are availables in the entrance wardrobe.
2 - In the kitchen, there is also a wood countertop. Wooden countertops hate water. I protect them with special oil, from time to time, but it will help a lot if you can be carefull with the water on the countertop. Try to wipe water as much as possible after each (dish) wash. Thanks a lot.
I had a great experience staying here for a week with 2 colleagues. We were in Toronto for a conference and had easy walking distance to the convention center. The metro nearby was also quite convenient for excursions around town, while the old town was great for grabbing a quick bite to eat.
Everything was as reported and Lydia made the experience very easy.
We were welcomed on our first night properly, but much later than the 3:00 entry to the apartment. The apartment was clean, lofty and very well situated in the old port. Very quiet, the bed in second bedroom should be improved as is was very noisy. The apartment is large so a bit hard to heat. Very steep stairwell to come in. I would recommend this apartment and their hosts. Once you know how the parking works, there is spaces available for free.
We felt very welcome, and the listing description was accurate. The apartment had great amenities, and the location in Old Montreal is almost unbeatable in terms of it's access to various parts of the city, famous sites, bars/restaurants, etc. Wi-Fi was easy to connect as well. There was also street parking, which Lydia and her husband helped us with.
I arrived to Montreal to the apartment and near the door I received a key. The apartment is very convenient: large space with two bedrooms is enough for the big family, the heating devices develop warm space due to the demand that is very important in the cold season. A plenty of hot water and good bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped with all appliances and cutlery in the fridge left food for the first time. All very conveniently arranged and give possibility to rest and to enjoy after the trip in Montreal. By the way, in the vicinity of the house a lot of cafe, restaurants, shopping centers and supermarkets. 15 minutes of walk and you can achieve the famous Montreal places: theaters, sea port, embankment.
We arrived fairly late at night but Lydia was there to greet us and show us around the apartment. The apartment was exactly as described with comfortable beds, a good shower and wifi. It was very clean and well equipped. We had been given detailed instructions for finding the apartment as well as transport options to get there. I particularly appreciated the fact that Lydia allowed us a late afternoon checkout as our flights didn't leave until the evening. The location was very convenient as it was near the old town and within a short walk from the subway. I would definitely stay here again if in Montreal.
The apartment is great, very spacious, clean and equipped with everything you need. The location is perfect, walking distance to almost everything and the metro is only 5 min away. Lydia and Levy were great hosts and even helped us finding a parking spot for our car. We really enjoyed our stay at the apartment and can definetly recommend the place. Thanks again Lydia and Levy.
Lydia and her husband were very welcoming. The place fitted the description and it was super cozy! When we stayed there, it was raining in Montreal but the apartment was so great that we enjoyed staying inside and having meals there.
