The place felt very new, modern & well organised. A short bus ride to the main attraction in the area, Iguacu Falls. Very good value
Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen! Tolle und familiäre Anlage, schöne Zimmer und eine angenehme Atmosphäre
My experience at the Concept Design Hostel was wonderful! It was the best hostel experience I have had since I have traveled. It is beyond high standards of most hostels. You won't be disappointed. The owners and staff are very hospitable and welcoming. The rooms were clean and comfortable and a nice breakfast was provided. I felt safe and met great people. I highly recommend here if you will visit both Foz do Iguacu and Puerto Iguacu.
We could stay for only one day at the Concept Design Hostel but were really impressed by the stay. The room we were given was really nice and big, and the people were all friendly. They have a nice bar and the place looked good to have long discussions by the pool with new people, but we did not have enough time. The (email hidden) was also very nice. And you have a bust stop just around the corner from where you can get a direct bus to the Iguassu National Park. I wold recommend this place easily to anyone visiting Foz De Iguassu.
Place - nicely fitted out double room with a modern feel. My room had unfortunately had a roof leak a couple of days prior to my stay and there was mould on one wall which Cyntia acknowledged.
Location - seems to be in between the main town centre and the entrance to the Iguassu Falls on the Brazilian side. There is also a small shopping boulevard at the end of the street. A taxi to the airport cost $44 Reias.
A trip to Iguassu Falls cost me $290 Reias by taxi including park fees.
For the Brazilian side I went straight from the airport to the falls by bus number 120, as they have lockers for luggage at the entrance. Entrance was $30 something Reias. This bus will also take you to the the hostel.
Hosts - the receptionists spoke English and were helpful in answering questions both by email before my stay and during it. Showers were hot and breakfast was included in the price. I did not realise that the place was a hostel and so they did lay down the rules right at the start which was unexpected. However, my double room was not shared so many of the rules didn't seem to apply.
For a hostel this is quite fancy. All rooms have a colour concept, are well equipped and furnished. We had the love room, a double which we very much liked to stay in. Unfortunately there was maintanance work on the roof while we were there, starting at 7 am, making it impossible to sleep. I'd wish we would have been warned before.
