Interaction with Guests
The house is run by a couple from the states who left the corporate grind of rock & roll stage building and Fortune 500 marketing and design to have a quiet balanced life in harmony with nature. We found our passion in making this space peaceful, functional, and beautiful for ourselves and our friends and creating a community that can really connect on things that matter. We take the tranquilo lifestyle very seriously.
Because it's a small, family business, we think of every person staying here like one of our family. We can help arrange transport, find local activities to fill your days, lead you up a hiking trail, recommend local eats, lend you a water bottle or warm hat, and give advice on your travels through Peru.
We want to make sure you feel like you're at home.

Other Things to Note
We are close to quite possibly the best little fresh air food market in the valley. As the first stop from the high jungle where there is a long growing season, we get first pick of the fruits and veggies.
There are lots of great spiritual outlets nearby including traditional Lakota sweat lodges, sacred fire ceremonies, yoga workouts, massage therapy, acupuncture, Indigenous Q'ero ceremonies, guided meditation, & family constellation work. Just ask.
Golden Rule rules.
Eric and Megan are genuinely hospitable ,and generous people .this has been an unforgettable experience .
The house is the perfect place of rest ;not just for the skeletal ,but the spiritual need.
While in route to Machu Picchu ,I met s young man from Norway ,in conversation I shared with him our experience at the house ,to my surprises he was there when we got back the following day .
In my humble opinion ;a terrific place ;I will return !!!!
This place is perfect for those that are searching for themselves as well as a wonder of the world. You could not ask for a better location in the Sacred Valley, nor could you imagine kinder hosts than the team that is Megan and Eric and their 3 dogs. I would go so far as to say the place has a certain magic to it. Once you stop here, you may find that all of your plans will change and what you thought was only a 2 day stay turns into a week or a week a month. Just warning those who like to have your plans in stone. Here it is better to be like water and go with the flow. We cannot wait to go back.
Megan and Eric were very warm and friendly. Upon our arrival they offered us food and invited us to join them around a fire they had going with other guests. We had a restful night. In the morning there was a warm shower and various options for breakfast. Megan was delightfully talkative and informative she helped us get transportation to our next destination and even called the gentleman waiting for us to let him know we were on our way. I must say we wished we could have stayed a little longer to get to know both Megan and Eric some more. They seemed like great people to know and hang with. We will definitely keep Casa Tres Osos as one of our go to options when visiting Sacred Valley.
Casa de Tres Osos was a restorative and relaxing getaway after doing a 4 day trek to MP. Megan and Eric opened up their home and hearts to us and even welcomed us when we wanted to stay longer than planned. Bed was cozy, tea and purified water plentiful and hikes from the front door were great. Wifi is a moto ride away to Urubamba which is a fun little town.
What an absolutely amazing experience!!! Staying with Megan and Eric was like staying with family (the good kind!) The casa de tres Osos is a great place to stay. The house is great and everything you need is right there - two full bathrooms, comfortable beds, plenty of warm blankets, great breakfast and a full kitchen. It is located in an insanely gorgeous spot surrounded by mountains with hiking trails are right at the front door. It is close to everything you'd want to see in that area. Megan and Eric are wonderful kind and helpful hosts! They generously shared their home, experience and knowledge with me and made me fall in love with their beautiful family. Great place!!!
Megan & Eric's home is a truly special place in the Sacred Valley. I spent 2 nights there but would have stayed for a month (or more!) if I had the time. It's the perfect home base for a Machu Picchu trek, and it was so lovely to come back to a home-cooked meal. The vegetable soup we made in the communal kitchen was a gastronomic highlight (and in Peru, this is really saying something given the amazing local cuisine)! If you love to cook, they have a first rate kitchen and both Megan & Eric are extremely knowledgeable about the local produce. Everyone in the house is knowledgeable, articulate, generous, and kind. Their home is still a communal experiment in progress but I loved that about it! Megan's design aesthetic is clear in the great signage and graphics around the home, from the front door gate to the hand-drawn porridge bar labels. My room looked like it came straight out of a magazine! Megan & Eric also took me to the local food market in Urubamba - all the local Quechua market ladies love Eric and he knows what the prices should be so you'll get the best deals. I personally love places with no tourists and we were pretty much the only expats for miles. If I ever get the chance to take a longer sabbatical, their home would be my first choice in the Sacred Valley!
This place is like heaven! Megan and Eric are awesome hosts (also their three dogs) and we felt like home. The house is very beautiful and they put a lot of work into each room to make it such a neat place. Their garden is a cool place to hang out and relax with beautiful fews of the surrouding mountains. Both of them have a great knowledge about the whole area and Eric took us for a short treck up the moutain to a little church. We also cooked dinner together and we loved the great atmosphere and the cool conversations we had with them. On top of that all the other guests were really lovely and we didn't want to leave. BIG THANKS and good luck with everything!!!
Hugs from M&M
