Interaction with Guests
The house is run by a couple from the states who left the corporate grind of rock & roll stage building and Fortune 500 marketing and design to have a quiet balanced life in harmony with nature. We found our passion in making this space peaceful, functional, and beautiful for ourselves and our friends and creating a community that can really connect on things that matter. We take the tranquilo lifestyle very seriously.
Because it's a small, family business, we think of every person staying here like one of our family. We can help arrange transport, find local activities to fill your days, lead you up a hiking trail, recommend local eats, lend you a water bottle or warm hat, and give advice on your travels through Peru.
We want to make sure you feel like you're at home.

Other Things to Note
We are close to quite possibly the best little fresh air food market in the valley. As the first stop from the high jungle where there is a long growing season, we get first pick of the fruits and veggies.
There are lots of great spiritual outlets nearby including traditional Lakota sweat lodges, sacred fire ceremonies, yoga workouts, massage therapy, acupuncture, Indigenous Q'ero ceremonies, guided meditation, & family constellation work. Just ask.
Golden Rule rules.
Megan and Eric's place is very special, full of great energy and hospitality. Great house, Wonderful host, they made us feel at home right away. Dinner cooked by other guest was fantastic and we got to exchange good conversation and experiences with other travelers from around the world. Yucay is a very small town in the Sacred Valley and there is plenty of transportation to and from there
Megan & Eric are the reason we will return to Peru. Their kindness and caring will exceed your wildest expectation. They are the poster children for what all Airbnb hosts should aspire to. Thank-you ;)
Coming here is like coming home. Such wonderful people, a wonderful space, and so much love from the 3 amazing dogs! Meghan and Eric have shared so much information on the area and given tonnes of helpful advice for getting around. They were super flexible when my arrival was delayed and there was just no stress over anything. Great place!
I booked 3 nights and stayed for 3 weeks in this beautiful, clean & comfortable retreat. Megan & Eric are both incredibly kind, welcoming people who are overflowing with wisdom and the willingness to share. Surrounded by the peace and beauty of the mountains, I spent my time reading, practicing yoga & meditation, hiking with the dogs, sharing delicious meals made with the freshest foods from the amazing Urubamba market, having uplifting chats, and enjoying the songs and warmth around the sacred fires.... a truly heavenly experience. Thank you guys! I'll definitely be back :)
Our stay with Megan and Eric was just fabulous. We immediately felt at home at this guesthouse, and our hosts were incredibly accommodating. We received well informed local insights and a personalised itinerary, which set us up for success in the Sacred Valley region.
Eric and Megan are genuinely wonderful people, and we enjoyed the conversation very much. Megan generously took us through a yoga session to soothe our aching limbs, and Eric took us on a short hike up a local mountain one morning and gave a working lesson on local flora!
The venue itself is comfortable, with a generously sized kitchen and all the utensils you would ever require. Terrific and healthy breakfast also provided.
Eric and Megan are genuinely hospitable ,and generous people .this has been an unforgettable experience .
The house is the perfect place of rest ;not just for the skeletal ,but the spiritual need.
While in route to Machu Picchu ,I met s young man from Norway ,in conversation I shared with him our experience at the house ,to my surprises he was there when we got back the following day .
In my humble opinion ;a terrific place ;I will return !!!!
