I rent this Pat´s Apartment for my parents.
She was so kind and helpfull in being sure they got the key to get in the day they arrived.
My parents felt very good in the apt. It is very confortable and cosy. Evertything was clean and working in the correct way.
They loved the location, it is a wonderfull neighbourhood.
Hope to be back in NY and rent ir for myself
The photographs do not do justice to Pat's apartment. It is in a lovely, characterful neighbourhood and even has a view of the Empire State Building. The sunny kitchen was well appointed with all the basics. Pat is a great communicator. Any questions were answered promptly. We would love to return to Pat's apartment when we return to NY. Subway station is only 50 yards away, providing cheap and easy access to Kennedy Airport.
A very nice apartment, clean and well located, but slightly noisy (on 6th Avenue). We did not meet Pat in person but he was always easily available on the phone. Getting and returning the key was simple. We would certainly consider returning to Pat's apartment for our future trips to NYC.
Pat's space was remarkably well-located, on a quaint side street in the West Village. It's cozy and has a beautiful view of Sixth Avenue, with lots of fine dining and shopping in the area. For anyone wanting to stay in New York, but in a slightly prettier area, I'd highly recommend this apartment!
Pat is incredibly responsive and accommodating. He is wonderful to deal with!
The apartment is wonderfully located. We visited during an unbelievably cold spell so we couldn't really just walk the streets, but wish we could have.
The apartment looks like the photos. However, the furniture could use some upgrading. The couch is sagging, the coffee table is loose, the shades are broken (had to hold them down with the free weights..) and the apartment, in general, has a worn feel to it.
The dishes in the kitchen were dirty, I think that the previous renter didn't wash them well, but no one checked them before we checked in, so we washed everything before we used it... The sheets on the bed seemed clean, but there were dirty sheets in the hamper when we checked in...
The apartment is spacious and the bed is very comfortable.
The wifi signal was strong and consistent.
I would rent it again, mostly because of Pat, and because of the location...
Pat was a wonderful host. Incredibly helpful and always responsive. The apartment itself felt like home. The location is superb and we were really jealous that we couldn't live their permanently! The apartment could do with a bit more hanging/shelf space but otherwise the whole experience was effortless and really enjoyable. We would recommend it wholeheartedly. Thank you, Pat!
We had an amazing NYC experience! Me, my wife, and our 4 yr old son made so many memories while visiting. Pat was very tentative to any request and even checked up on us (via text) half way through our stay. The place was exactly as described and made us feel like we were living the NY lifestyle during our stay. We loved the brick walls and windows overlooking the avenues! At night I left the window open and watched the city from the couch. We had a blast and hope to return soon! Thanks for an amazing place to stay Pat.
