Entire 1 bedroom apartment located at historic corner of Christopher and Gay streets. Why spend a weekend on the grid, when the streets of Greenwich village offer you the quaint feel of small European city while still being minutes from everything New York has to offer.
No place in New York is closer to more subway lines. Within blocks are the ACE, BDFM, L. The yellow and green lines are a short walk down Bleeker Street in SOHO.
Private bedroom has a comfortable full bed and living room couch pulls out for a second fulll bed. The second bed is a typical fold out couch and if you haven't slept on one they are not at the same quality level of standard mattresses. This is only 3 years old but it is still a fold out couch.

The apartment is spacious, and the location couldn't be better with the west village on your doorstep, an easy walk to the Hudson, Union Square, Washington Square, and many transit lines. Patrick was very accommodating, answered all my questions and made sure we were set for overnight guests one of the nights of our stay. I've stayed in several airbnb apartments in Manhattan; this was by far the best. It will be my first choice for future visits!
We had an amazing 4 nights in this apartment. The location is perfect, within 15 minutes walk you could explore the West Village, get to the meatpacking district and Chelsea and join the high line. Brilliant bars, restaurants (Murray's Cheese bar and John's Pizza particularly recommended) diners, brunch and coffee all within a block or two.
It was great for heading up and downtown, but then doing back to a lovely neighbourhood. really felt like a home away from home straight away.
The apartment itself was clean, warm (very welcome in November), spacious for two people and Pat left a scented candle for our arrival, lovely touch. Pat really was a first class host and was accommodating in allowing us to leave our bags for a few hours after check out.
This was such a special break for us and it really was made by this apartment. Next time we return to NY we'll definitely try and rebook.
The flat was really comfortable and was also superbly located for the West Village. Pat was super easy to deal with too! Would absolutely recommend to others.
Pat's place was wonderful! Exactly as shown/described in the listing and very clean. Pat made check in very easy and all his directions were clear and concise. He's clearly done this before! Looking forward to coming back on my next trip.
Seriously brilliant location. Loved staying here. The apartment is airy, bright and located in the heart of the village. So much to see and do. Can highly recommend.
This is a great apartment. True to the description. It is located in the perfect spot for work and play. The apartment is clean and spacious. I will definitely book again.
Great apartment in a really great neighborhood. Really convenient to lots of great restaurants, bars, coffee shops. Enough floors up (with elevator) to be reasonably quiet. Views of Empire State building. Would stay in same place again.
We enjoyed very much our stay in Pat's apartment at Christopher & Gay St, it was clean, the location excellent !!! in a very nice !!!! neighbourhood, lots of big windows, nice view (even in the shower), quiet and a very comfy bed. Pat was a very attentive host. We would stay there again :-)
Awesome location, comfy apartment. Pat was great to work with and was very responsive when we needed anything or had questions. Would definitely stay here again!
I very much enjoyed my stay the place on Christopher Street, definitely beat staying in a hotel. Cannot beat the location, it was just perfect, walkable to Washington Square Park and steps to an amazingly handy subway stop. The apartment itself was nice, met our needs, and was clean. Didn't use the kitchen, but it looked perfectly usable. Would have loved a slightly more comfortable couch, especially as it was doubling as a second bed, but it was fine, and that's the only downside I really noticed. Arrival and departure was also super easy, which made coming in after a red-eye much easier to deal with, so I can't thank Pat enough for that. The neighborhood tended to get a bit noisy later at night on the weekend--didn't bother me, I enjoy the city noise, but if noise is an issue for you, something to keep it in mind. Fair tradeoff for the great view of the Empire State Building, though. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks!
