Interaction with Guests

In the Winter I am often out of town so interaction is limited to messages and phone calls. When I am at home I respect my guests privacy but also enjoy sharing my local knowledge with people who have questions about what to do during their visit

The Neighborhood

Provincetown is a beautiful fishing village turned artist colony. It retains much of its historic charm. It is safe and diverse and that is why I call it home

Getting around

My home is walking distance to the Pier where the Boston ferry docks.
Walking and biking are the best way to explore the town. A car is useful to visit the national seashore beaches outside of town.

  • Staying in Richard's home was lovely! Richard was very flexible with a last minute change in our plans, and was very accommodating and quick to respond. The home is lovely and feels like a quiet retreat-- even though there were other guests at the home, we felt like we were the only ones there. The home is in a great location walking distance away from commercial street. I would stay here again if I return to Provincetown!

  • My friend and I had a great experience at Richard's house! He provided a list of great things to do nearby and made it easy to get situated in the house. My other friends from the Cape were shocked at how nice of a place it was! Great bedrooms, expansive common areas, beautiful views. The house is only a few short blocks from the main strip, making it easy to walk anywhere we needed to go. The neighborhood is also very nice - giving the feeling of returning back to one's own home at the end of the day! I look forward to staying here again in future visits!

  • great area, nice house, awesome roofdeck, antique bedrooms.. and a really nice host. unfortunately our room was direct next to the bathroom.. antique houses are beautiful but loud.. bring earplugs with you :). but cape cod is that recreative - you`ll forgive it soon. book it.
