  • Rome was wonderful. The B&B is close to every thing, we walked to Coloseum and the Geto and every were, the Metro station and Termini Station which connects you to the Airport is 7 minets by foot. We had problems in the airport and Hasan was waiting us at the B&B till we came, He give us all the information we needed.
The B&B was great, we had a nice and pretty room.

  • (FR) Bonne adresse.
    > Proche du métro et de la gare. Bon accueil. Chambre propre et suffisamment grande.

    (EN) Correct address.
    > Near the metro and train station. Welcome. Room clean and large enough.

  • We had a wonderful time in Rome. The BnB is really close to the Metro station from where you can get to all the major sights as well as the Termini Station which connects you to the Airport. You can also reach some sights my foot.
Federica was meeting us at the BnB to give us all the information we needed.

  • It was really great. The room was perfectly clean every single time we came back after a long day of visit. It's really intimate and calm. Recommended!

  • The rooms were cute, and very well located. Our main complaint is the air conditioner, which made very loud cracking noises throughout the night and prevented us from getting good rest. Make sure you communicate with the hostess to let her know when you plan on arriving- we failed to do so and had to wait around for a while until someone could come answer the door. There is not a 24-hour reception desk.

  • This place was a little disappointing. The rooms are not as nice as described. They also don't have all of the amenities listed. For example my room did not have a safe or a working hair dryer. There are 5 rooms, and they are not all like the rooms in the pictures. If you see a picture of a room that you like, you have a 1 in 5 chance of getting that room. Also, the rooms are very noisy. You will hear everything that happens in the rooms near you and the common rooms.

As far as location goes, it is a little inaccurate to say that it is in the heart of Rome. It is a long walk to main attractions (20-30 minutes) and there are no attractions, coffee shops, gelaterias anywhere near you. There is a restaurant next door that is ok if you are pretty hungry and don't want to wait to go into town.

The nearby sea is a little grimy. I felt unsafe at first, but after a couple days I figured out which streets to walk on and which to avoid.

For what it's worth, we returned to Rome a week later and found a studio on the Spanish steps that is much nicer, more private, and actually in the heart of Rome. It is the same price. I suggest that you shop around and avoid this place.

  • This is a nice place roughly 15 minutes walk from the train station. Room was clean and interestingly decorated. Hostess was very nice but did not speak any English. There are not too many places nearby until you start walking at least 10 minutes towards the train station.

  • Place was small, exposed electrical wiring in the bathroom was a worry and temperature on the a/c set to 30 degrees on a 30 degree day wasn't pleasant to walk in to. The neighbourhood is less than desirable (physical altercation with a pick pocket) and wifi is very difficult to come across. Can't comment much past that because we didn't stay long enough to experience any further (illness).

Federica was pleasant, however, person who meets you at check in speaks no English and doesn't understand broken Italian (even phrases from a recognised phrase book were misconstrued).

  • My husband and I wouldn't recommend Federica's B&B for a number of reasons. Before I booked this B& B I was assured by Federica that there was a fridge for us to use. We arrived to find a freezer that was a solid block of ice and hence the fridge door wouldn't close and nothing stayed cold. There was nothing fresh for breakfast and although bread was supplied there wasn't a toaster to use, the percolator coffee ran out on our 2nd day and wasn't replenished and the tea bags supplied were all fruit ones and I happen to like just plain tea for breakfast. The keys supplied were very poor Quality and our front door key broke off on the first night - there were several other broken keys on the reception desk. There was a TV but we weren't able to get an English channel and we were told that they had trouble with the system.
On a positive note - the linen was clean and the B&B is very close to the Termini train station. The restaurant down stairs was awesome and we ate there for the 3 nights we were in Rome - the waiter, Guiseppi spoke great English and had a really pleasant and helpful manner.
