Be right in the middle, and enjoy quietness at its best!
Extremely cozy and tastefully furnished - right behind the CCD & so close to the city centre!
You will have a comfortable double-bed in your room, you will have space in the wardrobe (part of it are occupied with my stuff, but not to worry - there is enough for all of us!). You have your own bathroom with modern appliances, towels and a few toiletries, should you forget your own. You will get your own keys as well.
Cooking after arrangement, but you are more than welcome to grab something out of the fridge, if you like! You can also spend time in the living room or check out the balcony (no furniture on it yet!).
Interaction with Guests
Very important: If you plan to go out and come back late, please do let me know so both sides are aware and can plan accordingly (and can maybe even do something together!)
Spencer Dock is located at the Dublin Waterfront / IFSC. The Grand Canal Dock is a 10-minute walk away. Dublin provides a great number of dining possibilities, lounge bars, and great places to visit (e.g. the Trinity College, the Guinness Storehouse, numerous churches and a very beautiful Phoenix Park). The famous and well-known Temple bar area is a 20-minutes walk along the river Liffey.
The Luas tram stop is just a 2 minute walk from the apartment and brings you to the city centre in only 7 minutes (stop: 'Abbey Street'; from there, walk to O’Connell Street / Henry Street / Grafton Street). Next to the tram station is a Dublin bike station.
The Connolly Train Station is a 10-minute walk away, and will quickly get you to beautiful areas such as Howth & Bray; both of which are great for a day trip in the outdoors.
You can park here as (underground parking spot) well for a fee of 5€/night. Please let me know if you'd like to use it before you book.
Other Things to Note
This is my apartment, I love it, I care about it, and I live here on my own. I will therefore only accept people who have completed, verified profiles, and who are either females or couples. I'd like to know a bit about yourself, too, when you get in touch. :-) Please do verify the check-in and check-out times as they are defined like that for a purpose.
Can't wait to see you soon!
Please respect the house rules, such as:
- Too loud music (I love listening to music throughout the whole apartment, but there is a certain border that should not be crossed over ;-)
- Cleaning after yourself (when you make things considerably dirty, such as dropping a liquid, etc.)
- Not to use the internet to download anything! Upon your arrival, you will sign a little agreement that confirms you are aware of this - very harmless!
- No smoking - neither on the balcony nor anywhere else on the complex - you would need to leave the complex to smoke (there is a nice area close to the water where people also relax or sit when it's sunny; you can go and smoke there if need be)
- Washing machine: please only use it on weekends!
- My doors are heavy and huge: please be careful when closing them :)
We spent five days in Dublin at Julie's home. Julie is a precious host, very nice and kind. The room is cozy and the bathroom is very clean. The apartment is near the congress center and it takes about 20 minutes to walk to the city center but there are many busses starting from this area direct to all turistic sites. Thanks you very much Julie!! Chiara and Andrea
Merci julie. A bientot j'espere.
Julie is a wonderful host, and she makes you feel very welcome in her home. She is considerate and gives many suggestions on great places to visit in Dublin. She is always happy to help if you have queries, very sociable, and yet also respectful of your space and time.
The room itself is delightful, cosy and with plenty of natural light. The bathroom is lovely, with a spacious shower and several free hair/body products, if you forget your own!
Would definitely recommend Julie and her flat, to anyone visiting Dublin, and looking to stay a short distance from town.
Julie was such a great host! Always helpful and full of tips, we also got the chance to spend some time with her and it was such a pleasure to get to know her better.
The flat is located in a modern and central neighbourhood, not too far from the city center (20 minutes on foot - 8 by tram) and it is exactly as in the pictures: cosy, clean and furnished with good taste.
Thank you for everything Julie, hope to see you again soon!xx
Julie is a lovely host, she's attentive and knows nice places in the city! Her apartment was a great place to stay during our visit in Dublin! It's a clean apartment and central located. We enjoyed our little trip to Dublin!
Julie was a fantastic host - communicative, helpful and attentive - I'm only sad our eagerness to see Dublin meant we didn't get to see more of her! Her flat was absolutely lovely to stay in - clean, comfortable and central whilst still being peaceful - we had such a fantastic time. Thank you, Julie - next time we're in Dublin we'll look you up!!x
Julie accepted my last minute request for 2 nights in her appartment in Dublin and met me right off the bus to give me keys and directions. Her appartment is comfortable and quiet. My bedroom was very cosy. The neighborhood is modern and pleasant and within walking distance of the city center (also very close to LUAS tram station). The airport bus is just around the corner, which is quite convenient. Julie is a very kind hostess. We were both busy so we didn't spend much time together, but she's the kind of person I would like to know better. Thank you Julie for your hospitality!
