The Space

This beautiful studio enjoys a fantastic location right in the heart of Paris, in one of the most popular and trendiest streets of a historical district called Le Marais. The Rue Charlot, with its 17th century buildings, echoes the heyday of artistocratic and nobility splendor, and it is now THE place where Fashion meets Art. Wander through designers shops and art galleries, stop for a coffee at one of the most trendiest bars in town, enter one of many temples of gastronomy, and enjoy the best nightlife of Paris! To cut a long story short, experience the true Parisian feel !

The studio has been very stylishly and elegantly decorated, successfully mixing clean-lined modernity with more soulful classicism. The bedroom side is elegantly decorated and features a beautifully welcoming queen-size bed. The bathroom is warm and beautiful, with top quality shower and amenities. The two French windows finished with somptuous curtains look on to the street while ensuring wonderfully peaceful evenings. It is the perfect Paris home for the discerning traveler.

Rate includes linen, soft drinks and wine.

- Nearby attractions: Picasso Museum, Beaubourg museum, the Louvres, Notre-Dame-de-Paris, and a lot more great monuments! You will also find around the corner the Marché des Enfants Rouges, the oldest market in Paris, offering organic food, cheese, wine, charming restaurants to brunch and the best crepe au Nutella in town. As well as great shopping streets, many great bars, restaurants and cafés.

  • Communications with Anne-Laure were excellent and Yan met us. The location was great, outside the tourist area, not far from metro and great places to eat very close.
Apartment looks like the photos and is very comfortable. The windows face west so caught the sun. If it was a hot summer this could make the apartment hot and whilst the windows work well you may need to shut them to keep out the street noise so may get too hot without a/c.
Overall a great place to stay.

  • I had a great time in this little apartment. It's very close to the centre of Paris so you can just step outside and straight into the amazing cafes and shops that the city is famous for.

  • Anne-Laure was a most responsive host. An issue with the plumbing arose, and she took care of it in one day, even though it was a holiday. The apartment worked well for two people, and it's in a wonderful neighborhood. I would definitely stay there again.

  • The flat has a perfect location, very close to Le-Marais which is one of the best and most lively quarters of Paris. It's also very safe. Clean and very nicely decorated which provides a warm athmosphere to us. Anne-Laure is a very kind host, gave very fast replies to our questions and helped a lot for postponing the check-out time. Thanks for your hospitality Anne-Laure.

  • The host and her business partner, Yan, were both extremely helpful - timely with responses prior to the visit, providing plenty of guidance on what to do, where to eat, and how to find the apartment. The neighborhood was incredible - fun restaurants, bars, beautiful shops with jewelry created by local artists, and everything was so accessible.

The apartment itself was small, but perfect for my friend and I. We loved that the windows opened fully so you can lean out, view the neighborhood, and get some sunshine.

We felt very safe the whole time. And loved the experience in large part because of Anne-Laure's lovely accommodation.

  • This apartment is perfect for one or two people. It is very centrally located. About a 5 min walk to République station. Around the neighborhood you'll find great food and can walk to a lot of places. I personally walked to notre dame and explored the neighborhood. Anne-Laure had the place ready really quick and her friend Yan was very helpful.

  • Spent five nights at the apartment with my daughter. Overall, it was a great place to stay, with a few caveats. The best: location is absolutely fantastic as other reviewers have said. Wonderful to stay in a real Parisian neighborhood that does not feel touristy, but one that is so central that it is easy to walk to many "sites" and also very easy to access the Metro. Charming, small street. The bed is large and very comfortable. The price is good considering the location. The caveats: Plumbing is a retrofit in an old building. The saniflow system is loud and quirky. The room is not really as large as it looks in the photos. It is certainly not small, but just not quite what is shown. Also, while the apartment is not dirty, it is not in the pristine condition that some reviewers reported two years ago when it was first renovated. Two towels for two people for five nights was on the sparse side; we would have liked a wash cloth. On the other hand, I don't know where we would have put additional towels. These caveats are provided so future renters know what to expect. While there are some quirks to the apartment, overall it worked very well for my daughter and me and I would certainly stay there again. A special thanks for Yan for helping us get our heavy luggage up the three narrow winding flights of steps.

  • Outstanding location, excellent and very comfortable bed, and a very friendly and accommodating owner who really cares about her renters. The Wi-Fi is very fast and efficient. Plumbing leaves something to be desired - a shower that delivers a weak stream of water and a toilet that tends to clog due to the very old age of the building
