Interaction with Guests
I work full time either at the client site or at home. Yet as an international business traveler, I love to welcome guests & share adventures.
Love that the neighborhood has great freeway access to get away for work or pleasure. Nearby is Shoreline Park where you can walk near the San Francisco Bay for miles! Downtown Mountain View has lots of restaurants for any palate or budget.
You can walk (15 minutes to 30 minutes to several types of public transit.) Mountain View also has a bike rental program. How awesome is that?

Your key opens the front door. Just turn the key in the keyhole until you hear the deadbolt move out of the way. Then depress the lever and you’re in!
When you’ve entered, please turn around and deadbolt the lock. It’s a great neighborhood, but I just like to ensure no one can come in that we don’t want in!
When you leave, the door doesn’t lock automatically when shut. Please just reverse what you did to get in – put the key in the keyhole from the outside and turn clockwise until you hear the deadbolt move into place.

You have complete privacy once you close your bedroom door. The door to the immediate right is your private bathroom. This is for your sole use during your stay. The other bedroom is the master bedroom and is my private space.
If you find you’d like to have a bit more space, feel free to move any chair or anything else into the hallway.
Bookcase: The shelves in the bookcases are empty. Please use them for any personal items. There are some books. Feel free to borrow during your stay.
Black TV Trays: The trays in the closet are for your luggage. Or you can use them for drinks and food. Please use coasters or the placemats that are in the closet to protect the surface from food or drink.
Desk: The printer and monitor are for your use also. If you need to print out an airline pass, send your pass to ***
White noise: There is an air filter in the closet if you hear any noise or have any issue falling asleep. It cleans the air and lulls you to sleep; what a wonderful combo.
Comforter/extra blankets: There’s an extra blanket in the closet. Or if you want a light blanket while reading, there is a throw on the leather chair or in the closet.
Pillows: Please use the pillows with the white pillow cases for sleeping and store the green-sham pillows on a chair when you’re ready to sleep.
Closet: The closet is where to find the microwave. You’ll also find
single serve coffee or hot water maker. You can ask for coffee before you go to bed and there is tea provided.
If the night light is in the bathroom as are misc shower supplies if you forgot yours.
Windows: The bedroom window opens sideways. If you want air while you’re sleeping, please open them. For security, please close the windows; lock them when you leave your room for the day.
Window shades: The window has a shade for your privacy. Please gently pull the cord toward the middle of the window to let the shade down and gently pull it away from the window to raise it. Please don’t force these as the cords will break.
The forced-air heat is strong and usually ample. If it is too much, close the vent under the window. If it’s not enough, there’s an additional blanket in your closet. Closing your blinds will help keep the heat in and the cold out.
No one shares your bathroom, so feel free to leave your things on the counter. The towels hanging are fresh. Extra towels are in the linen closet between your bedroom and bath, in the glass cabinet. You can ask for a hair dyer.
Under the sink:
Misc cleaning supplies
If you need clean glasses, please ask for them or look in the cabinet above the dishwasher if I’m not around to give you clean ones. Leave out on the desk anything that needs to be washed so I can do so after your checkout.
Again, in the bathroom:
Extra liquid bath soap
If you spill anything, use the paper towels in the closet to clean it up. Please do this quickly if something is spilled on the carpets so it won’t stain.
Spills happen. If you need to do laundry will here, please ask me and I’ll show you how to operate the washer and dryer.
Cooking is a nice change when you have been on the road for a while. You may arrange to me to cook your meals here. Just ensure that you clean up by putting everything away that was used, place all dishes in the dishwasher and clean the counters.
