Great value for money. Excellent location to rest of Canary Wharf. Own reception. Makes feel like staying at a hotel. Only negative was cold water in the shower. Might be a issue just that day.
Nice apartment in the Canary Wharf area. Two large bedrooms for me and my collegue so we have plenty of space. The wifi internet was very fast. The only thing I have to mention is the sink in the bathroom was broke so the water stayed in the sink. We called the owner but during our stay no one came to fix it.
The second thing you have to be aware of is the construction builders outside. EVery day from 7.00 am they start working on the next door building. I had to work at 9 am so for me it was a perfect alarm clock, but if you thinking about to relax, don't go here ;-)
For the rest I had a pleasant stay and will probably go there next month again.
Great Place, super clean, excellent location, agent were great and very helpful. 100% will use this apartment again.
Thank You 100% Satisfied
If you are looking for run down and dirty, you've found it! We were moved last minute to a new flat at 2 Larch Court due to "maintenance issues." We were told this was an "upgrade" so if that's true then I would hate to see the flat we originally booked. The furniture was old, dirty, and in disrepair. The flat had been smoked in and not cleaned. It took 3 visits of the cleaners to get it to an acceptable but still not great level of cleanliness. The office staff were extremely unhelpful and would ask me to email them every time I called. It took over 10 calls to finally get all issues addressed. Arvi eventually did get a refund for me of £500. Upon check in we were told by another employee that there were no maintenance issues with the original flat but that a large banking client needed the flats. Arvi is not an individual, she is representing a company called House of Modern Living. I would suggest anyone planning to book take a look at those reviews before booking. You will see these "maintenance issues" are not uncommon. Even if the flat would have been clean, I would still not recommend this specific property (Larch Court). While the location on Bermondsey Street is great, it's about 10-12 minutes walk from London Bridge, the beds are smaller than average double beds and are terrible quality. Flat pillows, uncomfortable living room furniture, and wardrobes, dressers, etc. missing handles and falling apart this what you get. This was our second experience with Airbnb and given the great experience we had the first time, although we ended up cancelling, I hope Airbnb will consider removing Arvi and House of Modern Living from their site.
Two days before we were due to fly the booking got cancelled but they moved us to another apartment in a different part of London. It was nice but out of our way. I am grateful they didn't cancel our booking all together but did want to stay in Canary wharf.
We had an extremely pleasant and comfortable stay at the apartment for 6 days. It's a 5 minutes walk from the Canary Wharf underground station and is thus well connected. The apartment itself is modern, well furnished and spacious. The House of MoLi were a pleasure to deal with and were extremely helpful. The check-in office is away from the actual apartment but that's a minor issue. I would recommend this apartment, it'll serve up to 4 people extremely well.
