There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance from the studio, such as TGI Fridays, Fiesta Del Asado, Ask, a Beefeater restaurant called the Duck, a few indian restaurants, there is a Tesco express supermarket a few minutes walk.
The studio is located in a residential area just off Hagley road.
Hagley Road is 2 minutes walk from the studio, where there is a regular bus service to the city centre. Buses go every few minutes to the city centre and it takes approximately 10 mins to get there.

The Emerald Suite was absolutely perfect!
Communication before, during and after booking was very quick and instructions given by Lindsey on how to access the flat were detailed and easy to follow.
The studio was spotless and very inviting upon our arrival. It is exactly as described only bigger than the photos suggest making it even more of a bonus.
The information pack in the flat gave us all the information one would need for getting around Birmingham and suggestions for things to do in Birmingham.
I would definitely stay here again… as would my mother (this being the ultimate test to pass)!
The emerald suite was very convenient for all my appointments in Birmingham and offered all we needed. Lindsay communicated well re our arrival but the only problem for us was the fact we couldn't open a window for fresh air and as we arrived on a hot day we were most uncomfortable.
Fantastic place to stay! Really close to the town. Very clean and modern would stay here again! :-)
Very comfortable bed
Lovely soft towels
Well equipped, usable kitchen. With milk and wine.
Comfy sofa and TV
Dining table and chairs you can pull out
Very easy access
No negatives at all, highly recommended.
We had a great stay at the Emerald Suite in Edgbaston. A home away from home! A clean, modern studio wih everything you need. An extra bonus is the fact that the studio is on the ground floor, so, no stairs, and the front door opens up to a pretty little porch. Quiet street yet very close to Hagley road where you catch the bus to Brhm city centre. Also worked well to stay at the studio with our daughter who is 2 1/2.
Thank you Lindsay for a great stay and, also, thank you for the complimentary bottle of wine which was waiting for us upon arrival!
Lindsay was very timely in all her communications and the information she forwarded about finding and gaining access to the studio was very thorough. The studio itself is wonderful: spacious, clean and well appointed. The neighborhood is lovely and both quiet and convenient to the city center, either by bus or by walking if you enjoy a stroll. I recommend an evening walk around the nearby reservoir. I can't think of anything that would have made our stay more enjoyable.
The apartment is very clean and tidy. It is bigger then the pictures shown. The kitchenware is very well maintained. I can park my car right in front of the door which is very good. It is closed to the city centre as well.
