Had a lovely stay at Cecile's! The location is perfect, and everyone is extremely friendly and hospitable. We had a lovely time interacting with Cecile, her friends, and her very sweet son. Highly recommend!

This is a really nice place, and everyone is really kind and helpful. It is a bit tricky to find, but Cécile's instructions are great. It might help looking for Pepenero (as a point of reference).

Tucked in the maze of streets in Marrakech, the riad is traditional and beautiful. The woman running the home was very helpful, assisting us in booking a taxi and Cécile was kind enough to allow us to drop our luggage off in advance. A quick stay, but perfect for our needs--good wifi, hot shower, good food and shopping within walking distance.

Cécile is truly a super host! She goes above and beyond to ensure that her guests feel welcome, looked after, and truly like members of her family. Prior to my stay, she helped me navigate the (sometimes confusing) public transportation system in Morocco as I made my way from Algeciras (Spain) to Marrakech via bus, ferry, and train, including checking train availability for me and offering helpful advice on how much time I should budget. Furthermore, she arranged for a taxi to pick me up from the train station, and then sent someone to walk me back to her place. This hospitality carried through to my stay, where she made sure that all my questions were answered and all my needs were met. Even after I left Marrakech, she continued to answer my questions about traveling in Morocco. To top it off, her place is beautiful and located within walking distance of Jemaa El-Fna, but away from the hustle and bustle of the main square. 10/10 would stay again!

Cécile was extremely generous and kind to us! Cecile arranged for a taxi to pick us up from the airport and then met our taxi driver to walk us the rest of the way to the house. Since we had never been to Morocco before we were a bit nervous and not having to worry about finding our way to our accommodation was very comforting. Once we dropped our stuff off she offered to show us the way to the central square and medina so we wouldn't get lost trying to find it ourselves. She also let us keep our luggage at the house overnight while we went on a desert trip (which she helped us arrange as well) and even had our room clean for when we returned the next afternoon. The afternoon tea was also very nice, we got a chance to meet some of the other people staying in the house and some of the locals as well. The woman next door who helps out around the house is one of the sweetest women I have ever met and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The home was extremely clean and cozy. This room is definitely the best in the house since it is on the first level and stays cool through out the day. My partner and I spent the last 5 weeks traveling across Europe and stayed in 12 different Airbnb's and Cécile was by far the best host we had. When we come back to Marrakech we will definitely try and stay at her place again.

Cécile's place is a great place to stay in Marrakech! She makes you feel welcomed, daily tea time is not to miss! Very close to the big square and other attractions. She gives you a map and recommends where to go. Very helpful.

Cécile User ProfileCécile is a superhost.
