Special christmas offer £2,000 for 10 days. Our two bedroom garden flat just off High Street Kensington is the perfect base for your London stay. The flat has all the amenities you could need and is well situated for the sights, shopping and delights of London. Parking space included.
This flat is also our home and therefore has everything you could want from a two bedroom flat in London, with fully equipped kitchen and utility room, including dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge and freezer, oven, ironing board etc. We recently renovated the entire flat earlier in 2015 and everything is brand new and absolutely beautiful (as you will see from the photos). The cupboards are well stocked and you are welcome to help yourself to everything apart from certain bottles of wine. There are plenty of towels and bedsheets.
The open plan sitting room, dining area and kitchen make really lovely entertaining and living space. There is a TV and DVD player and several DVDs on the shelves.
The master bedroom has a kingsize bed with a decent memory foam and pocket sprung mattress. It has a luxury double en suite bathroom with separate bath and shower room. The second bedroom is usually used as our study, but if you require additional sleeping space, then we will set up the double sofa bed, which extends into the spare and there are blackout blinds to allow for a peaceful night's sleep. Please just let us know when you make the booking if you need the extra bed space. The second bedroom has its own guest bathroom with shower, bath and toilet (see photos).
The flat has huge bi-folding doors that lead out from the open plan living space onto our large garden with terrace area and green lawn stretching out to the borders. There are several tropical plants, a large and very old pear tree, a rose garden and large BBQ. It is a peaceful and relaxing area to sit and read or enjoy a meal when the weather is fine enough.
Guests are welcome to access everything, apart from certain bottles of wine/spirits. We would ask people to be careful when using the bi-folding doors, as they open in a certain way. There is underfloor heating throughout the open-plan living area of the flat, which is straightforward to use.
Interaction with guests
We are usually out of town when we rent out the flat and interaction is mainly over email and text. We have a good friend who is our tenant upstairs and will be on standby for any immediate needs and will often greet guests on our behalf. We also have a cleaner that comes once a week and will tidy up after guests, although we would ask people strip their beds as a courtesy.
We hope that our guests will treat our home like their own, but leave it in a fit and clean state for our return. One dog is allowed to stay too. Smoking is allowed in the garden, but please clear up your butts. Thank you.
