Free WIFI included! A great place to disconnect and enjoy your holiday. Beautiful white sand beach with warm turquoise ocean is a short walk from the apartment!
Everything is within walking distance to nearby restaurants, shopping, Jazz clubs, Discos, Ocean Drive, Lincoln Road, Espanola Way. Do not be fooled or tricked by renting an apartment NOT IN SOUTH BEACH! You will have to take buses and TAXI everywhere.
The apartment is 39 square meters/420 sq feet and has two (2) large comfortable beds. Free WiFi is included. The apartment has a renovated bathroom and kitchen. Other features for your enjoyment are: television, air conditioning, ceiling fan, pots, pans, linens, pillows, towels, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer. I'll give you beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella.
Get in that car you just rented and head over to stunning KEY BISCAYNE, spend the day in lovely COCONUT GROVE, what about a nice drive downtown to check out Bayside and all the new hotels and night life of Brickell Ave, Mid Town, Design District and Mary Brickell Village. Drive over to breath taking CORAL GABLES AND GO FOR A SWIM AT THE VENETIAN POOL! What about Ft. Lauderdale?! Key West?! Sanibel and Captiva Island!? Drive North to Orlando and check out WALT DISNEY WORLD AND VISIT HARRY POTTER AND JAWS AT UNIVERSAL STUDIOS! Closets: Toilet Paper, Beach Chairs, Beach Umbrella, Iron, Ironing Board and Hair Dryer. Kitchen: Pots, pans, silverware, plates and glasses, knives, toaster and drip coffee machine, Garbage bags and cleaning supplies.
WIFI and TV: High Speed wireless internet and cable TV has basic channels.
BUILDING RULES / MIAMI BEACH LAWS
For the safety and security of our guests and neighbors we ask that you read carefully the following are RULES/LAWS of the Apartment Complex and the City of Miami Beach.
Violation of any of these rules / laws are grounds for immediate check out and loss of security deposit.
You will have to leave the apartment and you will not be entitled to a refund.
The apartment is for ONLY for 1 (one) or two (2) guests, unless previously agreed to with host. If you are observed by my neighbors to having more than 2 people staying in the flat it will result in our asking you to check out immediately. No refund expected nor given.
NOISE: We want everyone to enjoy their time in South Beach and to have fun. No loud Noise or Loud Partying is allowed, especially between the hours of 10pm and 9am. This is a quiet neighborhood and building. Please be respectful of our neighbors that have to get
up and work in the morning. If you want to be loud and party, that is great, take it to the beach or the clubs. If our neighbors are playing loud music or partying too much, please contact host and I will handle it. Loud Noise or Partying will result in the Police being called.
ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES: No Drugs, Soliciting, or Illegal Activity is allowed or Police will be called.
BALCONY: Please do not leave any personal items on either the front or kitchen balcony. This is STRICTLY against building rules. This includes towels, clothes, shoes, sneakers, flip flops or socks. Please use the hanging rack for clothes and towels provided inside the apartment.
Hanging clothes or towels on the front balcony or back balcony is against the rules of the apartment complex and is strictly forbidden. Doing so will result in your having to check out immediately and no refund will be given. Note that items left on the kitchen balcony will blow away or fall down, to an area that we cannot access. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items left on the balcony. For privacy and quiet of our neighbors we ask that you do not hang out in front of the apartment on the balcony and use the kitchen balcony instead.
OUTSIDE HALLWAY LIGHT: the light located outside the apartment is for the safety and security of all guests on 2nd floor of the building and at night it is required to be on by Law. Do NOT touch nor turn off this this light in any way. Doing so will result in immediate check
out and no refund will be given.
PETS: No animals!
GARAGE: The apartment comes with one PRIVATE and secure parking space (#14) in the building. As in all big cities, we recommend renting a compact car for small parking spaces. When parking in the space you must BACK IN the vehicle and ensure that your car is parked far back enough close to the gate. This is so our neighbors parked directly opposite can park their car as well as allow other cars to move around in the garage. You may only use the Garage Space Assigned which is written in the back of the parking space in black, in your case 14, the same number as the apartment. If you park your car in another spot, or out in the street, it will get towed away and the cost is $400 to retrieve car.
SMOKING: Is only not allowed inside the apartment; only outside in the balcony.
BEDS: Sheets/ Blankets and Pillows are provided. Murphy bed drops down to a queen bed, and the sofa opens into a double bed. Flat sleeps 2 people comfortably. Please leave Murphy bed in the down (on the floor) position, as closing it may cause it to break. Please leave sofa bed in down position, as adjusting in improperly will cause it to break.
GARBAGE / RUBBISH: Please do not put trash outside the door of the apartment or on the balcony as this is against the building rules. Do not worry about recycling. Just throw the garbage bags into the Garbage dumpster/container. The dumpster/container is located
in the alley next door (9th street between Euclid and Meridien) next to the building and is attached to the building. You must go into the alley, and on the right you will notice a gate with the trash dumpster inside it. Your large key will open the gate to the trash dumpster.
MAIL: Receivin(website hidden) or boxes or parcels at the apartment by guests is not permitted. We are not responsible for items sent to the apartment. In the past, guests have had their mail not delivered or stolen, and they actually blamed me, the host.
LAUNDRY: There are several laundromats nearby for your convenience (listed in the House Guide). Guests unfortunately cannot use the laundry facility on property as this is only permitted by owners. We are not responsible for any lost/stolen clothes from laundry facility, which in the past has gone missing, only for the guests to blame the host.
CLEANING: You have already paid for cleaning the apartment. Please clean all the food off the tables and from the sink, and put in garbage. Either clean the dishes or do not clean the dishes, but do NOT put dirty dishes or greasy pots and pans back in the shelves/drawers. Garbage must be thrown away. Note: Leaving food out will attract both cockroaches and rodents (rats). Violating these cleaning rules will result in loss of $300 security deposit.
Here are some examples of constant violations that guests are engaging in:
- putting dirty dishes back into the cupboard
-putting dirty greasy disgusting pots and pans back into the cupboard, hoping the host does not notice (this will cause the flat to be infested with roaches and rats)
- leaving trash and bags full of trash inside the flat
- leaving garbage and food in the sink, then checking out
- too much sand, piles of sand on the chairs, furniture, floor and in the beds
Any of these violations will result in full loss of your security deposit, as well as being blacklisted from airbnb
DIRTY LINENS: Please leave the dirty linens in the laundry bin in the closet. Do not wash or wipe the floors with the towels. Towels that are left black from cleaning floors will result in $50 per towel from your Security Deposit.
You are allowed one (1) set of clean sheets, and one (1) blanket, which are already placed on the bed for you.
You are allowed two (2) bath towels per person. For example, if there are 2 people in the flat, you will have access to 4 towels.
You are allowed one (1) beach towel per person. This has been provided for you and is in the closet or bathroom.
Under no circumstances are you allowed to go into the closet and help yourself to more linens. These linens are for the following guests that are checking in the day you check out.
Please place the dirty towels and linens in the hamper located in the closet or outside of the closet.
Do not clean the floors or bathroom with the towels. Please use the paper towels that have been provided.
If you really need to clean your towels or bed linens, feel free to use the laundromat located on 5th Street and Washington Ave
At check out if you are observed using the linens that belong to the next set guests; your full security deposit shall be forfeited.
CHECK OUT: When you check out, please leave the remote control for the gate, and the keys on the table in living room. The security deposit is given back after checkout as long as nothing is destroyed, missing, the flat is not filthy dirty, nor violations previously noted.
Sorry for all the harsh rules, too many bad little boys and girls lately, so host shall govern the people accordingly.

Das Apartment ist sehr klein, der Balkon winzig. Maximal für zwei Personen ausreichend.
Die Wohnung ist charmant, die Lage -in einem Wohngebiet, aber in SoBe- sehr gut. Sehr hilfreich sind die Strandstühle und der Schirm, die vorhanden sind.
Zum Strand sind es eher 15 Minuten zu Fuss, mit Sonnenschirm und Stuhl wird's dann weit.
Die Ausstattung ist eher mässig, wir fanden eigentlich kein Messer, mit dem man schneiden konnte.
Der Parkplatz ist für grössere Autos absolut nicht geeignet.
Der Gastgeber war freundlich, wenn auch nicht sehr flexibel wirkend.
Die Nachbarschaft scheint nicht sehr begeistert von Air-Bnb zu sein. Als wir mal Handtücher auf den Balkon hingen, gab es eine Beschwerde.
As described. Great location in the middle of action away from loud streets. balcony was perfect touch, when we had enough sun. Parking great too.
George and his son are great hosts! Easy to contact, quick response, flexible and very helpful. The apartment was perfect for a couple like me and my girlfriend - very central, close to beach, restaurants and shops but also located on a relatively quiet street. The big plus for us was the private parking as we rented a scooter (best way to explore SoBe in our opinion) and a car while staying. We'd love to come back one day :-)
George met us at the apartment, after several attempts to help direct us in by phone. He was very accommodating and helpful. The elevator was not working when we arrived, and he helped us carry our things in.
We were shocked when we saw the balcony (our primary reason for choosing the unit). I showed him the picture on the site, and he said, well that must be an old picture. I'm not sure it is even possible that it is the same place. The balcony is 18 inches wide and if a chair could be placed there, I don't think one could sit there.
The parking space was convenient, but extremely tight. A compact car is the best option.
The futon mattress (sofa) emitted a putrid odor, which permeated the entire condo. We were unable to use the sofa, and covered it with a blanket to help mask the odor. George stated that the mattress was a "really good one, 20 years old", and that he would try to "save it with fabreeze". Perhaps time for a new one!
The Murphy bed was clean and comfortable.
The kitchen was new and for the most part clean. The bathroom was very useable, but the sink was dirty when we arrived, and I had to clean it before using.
Thank you thank you to all my wonderful guests. This is now my 4th year in business and each year brings me more great memories from my amazing guests...special thanks to all the guests from Europe who leave me wine, cheese, cookies (Lebkuchen is my favorite!!) and other lovely little chachkas!
As for Linda...well this was the first time I rented to guests "of a certain age", and truth be told, they were an older cranky American couple. They had the wits to drive to Miami all the way from St. Augustine (a 5 hour drive) only to hit Miami at peak rush hour, so that added another 90 minutes to their commute, so when they arrived, immediately after they started kvetching about the parking, I could tell they were fussy. They admitted that they only stayed in fancy hotels, and I could tell right away that this apartment would not be a good fit form them. These guys actually complained each and every day they were there.
So my question to Linda is this: If the apartment was so horrible and smelly and unsuitable, then why did you stay for your entire stay...NINE (9) NIGHTS?!
FYI to the other hosts in the airbnb community - do not accept these guests...not worth the headaches.
Addressing the Guests concerns:
1- Parking - the spot is fine, never had a complaint before.
2- the apartment is always very clean, never had one complaint in 4 years of business.
3- the futon mattress has been replaced with a brand new one
4- that flat is clean and comfortable....but hey don't take my word for it..just look at the 90 positive reviews to see for yourself.
Great little condo close to the beach, restaurants and shops! George met us at the condo and gave us a long list of suggestions of places to check out while we are there. Very friendly and good communication. We also took advantage of the beach chairs and towels that were kindly provided for our use. Kitchen is very usable - we cooked breakfast here every morning before heading out.
The patio was a bit smaller than we expected from the photos. It's actually more of a standing patio. You could eat/drink out there if you were really determined to, but it wouldn't be very easy or comfortable. The rest of the photos were accurate.
Excellent place to stay and I highly recommend it as a jumping point for South Beach. That said, this place might not be for everyone. Please note:
1. You need to be able to walk 3 flights of stairs - the elevator isn't working properly. Probably not a good location if you are disabled.
2. The parking is very tight. You will need to have a compact or smaller and be very comfortable parking in tight urban spaces.
George is an awesome host! The appartement is clean and perfectly located in the middle of fancy southbeach region! Private parking lot!
We loved everything about our experience at George's BnB! The balcony view is perfect and refreshing, everything is super clean, loved the beach chairs to pack and take with us in the sun, the bed is super comfortable, and he gave me so many suggestions of fun things to do and restaurants to explore. I would definitely stay here again!
