We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was a perfect set up for our family (3 adults, 1 infant, 1 toddler). Everyone had there own bed and slept well. The house was comfortable and located conveniently. Most of our trip was centered around Boulder, but we did find ourselves in downtown Louisville one night, which was great. We wish we would have found downtown Louisville sooner. The house is a straight shot into Boulder (using S Boulder st) and takes about 10-12 minutes. The neighborhood was nice. The house is located within a 5-10 minute walk of a great little lake and walking trails with great scenery of the mountains in the background. When we come back, we would highly consider staying here again.
This modern convenient Louisville family home is great. It had all the amenities one could ask for from a stocked prepared house - modern kitchen, comfortable back yard furniture, laundry, open architecture, and lots of space to relax.
Located in a modern curvy hillside quiet neighborhood, the house is conveniently located off the nearby strip, McCaslin Blvd and all shopping needs. This was better than downtown Louisville, which is quaint and adorable (Lulu’s BBQ!), but popping with tourists. Here, it is calm. One is closer to Boulder, conveniently near everything by car, from RMNP to South Park to Denver.
With no airbnb review, we were going a little on trust. We figured perhaps this owner was new to renting out his home. The owner was great. He was friendly, clear, and honest. We actually never spoke. Such is the nature of modern communication, using text and the airbnb site for minimal but immediate contact. I’m sure he’s a phone call away, for renters who still use phones to talk.
I myself styled grandly in the master bedroom. Better than a casino. The lower floor bedroom and bath were perfectly adequate. Rabbits jumped around the yard.
So why the 4/5 stars? Two couples with a few kids would be golden here. We were three single adults. Short straw drew the kid’s bed (air mattress available). He didn’t sleep so well. Perhaps there is a Millennium Falcon double bed out there to match the room that would benefit travelers and the young host. That, and a much stronger centrally located router, easy fixes, and this beauty is definitely five stars.
Thank you kindly to our hosts. Thank you airbnb. You brought travelers and a beautiful home together.
