The village of Montblanc is in the Languedoc region in the South of France and dates from Roman times. Our beautiful house is built of stone. The main frontage is 19th century, a French “Maison de Maitre”, a home for a landowner or professional person. Originally our house was the home of a doctors family. Some parts are much older, there have been many changes over the centuries.

Interaction with Guests
We live here and like to welcome our guests personally. We are available for information, help or a chat over a glass of wine but are careful never to intrude.
Montblanc is a typical wine-growing Languedoc village, surrounded by vineyards. We are lucky enough to have good local shops, wine domaines, a bar and a restaurant all within walking distance. And we are so well situated for visits to world famous sites, eg Carcassonne, and historic market towns, eg Pezenas. The Mediterranean and nearby lakes and rivers all add to the charm and pleasure.
We enjoyed a pleasant night in Carole's house.
The room is very small, and not air-conditioned, but the fan gave some relief on the very hot night we were there.
Carole was very easy to communicate with and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, and it was nice to be able to eat in the garden. It was a shame we were in the studio apartment and not one of the main rooms as it did feel a bit small.
We had a lovely stay in Carole's studio apartment, it was cosy, comfortable and well equipped. We did find it a little warm as there was no AC but the windows open and fan on made our stay bearable. Beautiful quiet village :)
