The iconic "George" building is located in St. Kilda's famous Fitzroy street and this well appointed apartment offering all the luxuries of living in the wonderful beach side suburb of St. Kilda with it's many cafe's, bars and restaurants.

Located on the 2nd floor at the front of the building this apartment offers very high 14ft ceilings, polished floorboards, a double bed and a great funky additional mezzanine floor with queen bed. Just renovated, featuring European designer furniture and fittings, washer & dryer, plasma and more, this space is fresh out of the pages of Vogue.
Drop in downstairs with direct access to the comfort of the George White Bar,for some fine dinning or drinks. Or try the tapas bar in the grand foyer. A licensed Woolworths Supermarket is a one minute walk!

I will meet with guest and take them through the apartment and answer any questions they may have and offer any suggestions to help them have a wonderful stay in St.kilda!
St.kilda is one the most vibrant neighbourhoods in Melbourne. Situated by the sea it has a wonderful laid back vibe yet only 10 minutes to the city. Restaurants,bars and live music atyour doorstep, you will be spoilt for choice!
Bookstores, stylish bistros and homeware stores, fabulous Day Spas... The list goes on....
Sunday Markets on the Esplande, jogging around The Lake, windsurfing, swimming at a very safe sandy white (website hidden).kilda is a fantastic place to say while in Melbourne.
There is a Tram right out side the front door of The George Apartments #96 will take you in to the heart of the city.
To and from the airport.
A cab will take about 30-40 mins and cost aprox. $75
Sky bus/ Tram (will take about 60 mins)
A Sky Bus leaves the airport every 10 mins.
Catch the Red Sky bus ( out side the arrival doors) it will drop you at The Southern Cross Train Station in the city. It will cost $18 pp
Then cross the road to Collins street and get on a # 96 Tram ( you will need to buy a Myki Card ) and the tram will take you to my door. Get off at the corner of Grey street and Fitzroy street.The George Apartments are aprox 30 metre walk from the corner.
Trams are a great way of getting around Melbourne.
You will need to top up your card. This can be done at 7 elevens and most news agencies or of course on line.
Safe bicycle paths around the foreshore and into the city. Opposite The George there are bicycles that you can hire.
The light rail is also opposite the apartment.
For people that need a carpark,there is an underground carpark 100 metres away at (352 Canterbury Road) that charges a flat rate of $7
for the day and a night rate of $8 per night.. ( from 5pm- 1.00am )However they will do a flat rate of $50.00 per week if you are staying for longer periods.( see online Metropol car parking in St.kilda )
Other Things to Note
I can arrange for a driver to collect you from the apartment and take you to Tullamarine Airport or visa versa.

If guests would like to have the apartment cleaned during their stay I can arrange my cleaner for you at an additional cost.
There is a manual in the apartment explaining how everything works also some great suggestions on where to eat!
You will find the apartment clean and comfortable. All I ask is that you leave it in the same condition.
Please respect neighbours by keeping late night noise to a minimum.
Strictly no parties in the apartment.
Only guests confirmed in reservation at the time of booking.
Please take your rubbish to the bins provided, downstairs. ( See Manual for location )
Any damage to property will be taken out of the Security Deposit.
Lost Keys and swipes will incur a replacement fee of $50.00
