This is a nice spacious cabin in the woods right on the water. It has a covered front porch across the entire length of the cabin. There is one bedroom, a sleeping loft, living room, kitchen, dining area, and a bathroom with shower. The interior is all finished in beautiful native hardwood lumber. It is surrounded by large oak trees and has a pond right in front. It is set back approximately 300 ft from a public road which provides excellent privacy.

Where I went to school: Southern Illinois University Carbondale
Retired couple living in rural southern Illinois, who enjoy visiting grandkids, traveling, camping, hiking, biking, and growing trees. We are both retired now. Gary is a retired Forester from Illinois Dept of Natural Resources. Debbie is a retired school teacher. We have always enjoyed the cabin, and stay there ourselves sometimes. We try to make it a place where guests can enjoy the outdoors in a quiet setting.
