Julie was a terrific host. A very artistic, old school, place to stay in Tweed. Thank you
Julie was a great host. Very friendly and welcoming. The room is comfortable with plenty of wardrobe space. Upstairs is a very relaxed environment with a nice view of the ocean and usually someone around for a chat. Will be staying there again!!
Julie and Leroy were great hosts. Julie was very good at keeping in touch with me upon my arrival, and offered me a ride if the bus wouldn't drop me off. She invited me to join them for dinner, and we had a lively discussion!
I stayed with Julie and Leroy for 4 nights. The location will appeal to surfers because it is up on Point Danger right between Duranbah and Snapper. You can see some of the Super Bank from the front verandah. The house is an old Queenslander style and the guest room is underneath the main living areas, so bathroom, lounge and kitchen are shared. Jules and Leroy are really easy going and welcoming. The house is a classic surf shack. If you want modern minimalist décor, this is not for you. But if you want friendly no-fuss accommodation with laid-back hosts, then give it a shot.
We had a very enjoyable weekend staying with Julie and Leroy. It is only a short walk to shops and beach and the view from their verandah is beautiful. They made us fell very welcome and will be back to stay again. The bed was very comfortable and the room very clean. The art hanging around the house was impresive. Julie cooked us a fantastic breakfast which keeped us going for most of the day.
Julie is a wonderful host. The house is in amazing location & perfect for my quick stop in Cooly. Highly recommended Dave
Julie was just lovely! wonderfully welcoming & very accommodating. Accommodation was just as described & was super convenient for our purposes. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again :)

we are cruisy people, with the ocean almost at our doorstep and we love everything about it. we live pretty healthy some of our food fresh out of the garden and most of the rest out of friends gardens. We enjoy the company of the young and young at heart but don't expect to come and have a big piss-up at our house don't handle drunks. fine to have a drink though. We are probably borderline hippy but not so cosmic we are thought to be in the next galaxy. look forward to meeting you...If you surf you will love our place
