This place became my second home...I love the this B&B! Antonella, is probably one of the most caring hostess. Her place has everything you could possibly want for long extended stay or short stay. I was there for close to two months but had to leave early due to responsibilities back in the states. Her B&B was my main place of residence while traveling around Europe (Spain & Portugal) and Italy ( Sardinia, Venice, Florence & Pisa). It was great knowing I could leave my luggage and other things in my room and not have to worry about what to do with them. My room- the room was like a junior suite! Large room with a double bed, full bathroom, desk for me to do some work on my tablet. Large windows with views of the Walnut, Fruit, and Olive trees, along with views of the Vineyards. The bed is so comfortable and the sheets are very soft, not sure of the thread count, but I would put them over 500. There is also a fan for those extra hot nights. The bathroom has a full size bathtub. Breakfast- there is a continental breakfast served every morning with homemade preserves from her organic fruit trees. Antonella, would also make the night before breakfast cakes with fruit from her trees. I loved the Apple and Pear cakes! Everything is Organic! If you are lucky enough to stay during Fig season, you are in for a real treat! There are also tables outside for eating, as I choose to do every morning or you can eat inside. The coffee is very good! You have a variety of breakfast foods (cereal, yogurt, toast, tea and juice). If you are into yoga, the patio area is large and you will love doing your morning stretches and meditation before your busy days. On those days that you want a few hours for reading or responding to emails there is a lounge chair on the patio. It's quiet except for the birds and occasional Rooster...lol Location- the B&B is probably around 20-25 minutes from Rome, 10 minute drive to the smaller Ciampion Airport, where Ryanair is located (Very low fares for traveling around Europe). The local commuter train (Marino Station) to Rome is about 5 minutes away from the B&B, and the bus stop is within walking distance to get to the Metro. There is also an American University up the road for visiting and a Supermarket I plan to travel back to Rome in 2016, and I will totally being staying here. I highly recommend this place! Antonella operates a very nice B&B, she pays special attention to ALL her guest. She goes out of her way to accommodate you and to make sure your stay is a pleasant stay! I wish more businesses ran their business as Antonella operates her B&B! The Wifi works great! Both indoors and outdoors. Tis was my first trip to Italy and I look forward to being back in...
Thanks a lot for your kind review! I try every day to do the best for my guests, to let them have a nice and quite staying to relax themselves, but it is so easy in this garden.... Nature has been so generous, that just does not bother to get a little paradise! I'll wait you for the next opportunity!
About the Host, Antonella
