Your place was quiet, cozy and convenient. I had just arrived from a long trip from Europe so I appreciated all the help your husband offered me when I needed some advice on how to get to the apartment from JFK. Thanks for everything.
Nina is a great and very responsive host. The flat is as described and super convenient!
Nina made me feel very welcome. The photos are a perfect representation of the place. It was very clean --- the floors, the refrigerator, the bathroom, the bedding. The neighborhood is the heart of Greenwich Village --- so if that's what you're looking for, you'll love it as much as I did. It also was quiet.
Small, sparsely furnished 1br conveniently located for visiting NYU. Lots of good restaurants within a short walk and only 1 block to the subway. You're not going to find a better deal in Greenwich Village.
Excellent location, comfortable interior, and responsive host. Thanks for a great visit!
The place is great and you have it all to your self. It's minimalist and clean.
Check in was convenient. Even if my flight was delayed 5h I was able to pick up the keys at 3:30am without a hassle.
The hosts were always quick to respond to calls and texts. They were also kind enough to let us check in early and also check out late. (Which was a lifesaver as our flight times were inconvenient).
The apartment looked exactly like the photos. However, since I am a total neat freak I would have liked the washroom to have been emptied (they had lots of bathroom supplies available for us to use) and I would have liked the fridge to have been emptied as well (it had some stuff like beer and butter, but nothing gross). Also, I had to do a bit of extra dusting to make the apartment perfectly clean. Aside from that, the apartment was still very clean and quiet. There were no bug problems and the neighbors were all very nice. The only bad thing is the stairs, it was a daily work out going up and down but at least I got fit while staying there!
The neighborhood was perfect and was less than a 5 minute walk to the subway! You can easily walk to the Soho shopping area and even Washington Square Park. There is also tons of great places to eat such as La Lanterna di Vittorio (pizza was delicious), Laduree (macarons) and Big Gay ice cream. There is also a cool indie movie theater beside the subway.
Overall I had a great experience and would definitely stay here again!
About the Host, Nina
I'm a visual effects artist, and my husband is in branding/graphic design. We work in LA mostly, and NY every now and then. (And sometimes other cities... the world is getting smaller, isn't it?) We love culture, and our places are great for fellow culture-lovers. We are aspiring minimalists, and our places reflect that. Minimalists need crazy-fast wifi, though. Hope you find our place a relaxing, quiet retreat. We want you to have a great trip.
We love that Airbnb lets the world see more of itself.
Thanks for looking!
