Great location
95% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
Nestled deep in a rainforest jungle, sits a mystical star-shaped dwelling. This unique bungalow is created in the form of icosahedron, one of the fundamental sacred geometry shapes, with crystals buried beneath, and topped with copper cupola all to help amplify and heighten your spiritual senses.

The space
**Lava Update**
The Highway 137 was just covered by the recent volcanic eruption so it is blocked and can not access from Hwy 132 (which was repaved and reopened) to Malama-Ki Forest Reserve. This change is not reflected on the Airbnb map. Many popular ocean accesses are now gone, but the sight of the fresh lava (still steaming in lots of areas) is not to be missed.

This bungalow has a minimal kitchen with a mini-fridge. There are two chairs on patio that looks out to the garden surrounded by Mango and Monkey pod trees; and filled with fruit trees and tropical flowers.

Inside the bungalow, you will find a cozy and airy room (no windows; just screens) with a comfortable memory foam queen size bed. Additional single person futon floor mattress is available on the loft for the 3rd person upon request. This loft space is also perfect for quiet meditation.

Just few steps out from the bungalow is a standalone cabin that houses a private hot shower which overlooks the garden and a separate flushing toilet and a vanity.

Guests are welcomed with organic tropical fruits and harvests from the garden (when available).

To connect with nature, disconnecting to the digital world is highly encouraged. But WiFi is available at the main house (where we live) if needed (from 8am-8pm).

***** ***** ***** ***** *****

After leaving frantic city life over five years ago, we settled in this magical land to start an alternative homestead living completely off-grid and strive for self-sustained life.

We produce our own electricity and harvest our own water with moderate conservative consumption in mind.

Where you’ll be

Pāhoa, Hawaii, United States

**Lava Update**
Recent eruption has changed nearby neighborhoods, covering our beloved warm pond, and tide pools. Instead, it created many new black sand beaches, but since the major roadway is still covered by lava and closed, they are still off limits.

Puna is also renowned for its wide array of tropical fruits; some that are bizarre shaped and strangely delicious, which you must try.

The closest town of Pahoa is a 15-min drive, where you will find many restaurants and a well-stocked natural grocery store.

We are health and environmentally conscious family with a dream of building an off-grid and organic homestead. Our ambitious goal is to be self-sustained by growing our own food as much as possible and producing our own fuel, but most importantly, to live peacefully with the land in harmony. We would love to share with you our experience of creating this sanctuary and for you to get a taste of an alternative “harmonious” living.
