Francesco was a perfect host - meeting me at the apartment to show me around and explain how everything works. He even left beers and breakfast in the fridge for me ! The location is a perfect base for a weekend in Milan. 15 mins from linate airport, Plenty of great restaurants nearby and a short taxi ride into central milan. The apartment is both modern and stylish and far better in reality than the pictures suggest. I will definitely stay there again on my next trip to milan.
For my wife and me, this was our first Airbnb experience, and we are thrilled at how good it was. The information on the web site was accurate and described the place honestly. The apartment is modern, very clean, and spacious; the bed is comfortable. Location is about a 5 minute walk to the metro, and a short train ride to the center of Milan. A good supermarket is across the street, so we saved on meals by shopping for groceries, and a good, moderate-priced restaurant that Francesco recommended is just a block away. We noticed a dry-cleaner/laundry on the way from the subway.
Francesco was a most gracious and thoughtful host, much more so than we could have expected. He did everything possible to make us feel at home, and assisted us in person with a lot of local information and guidance. Francesco took time from work to meet with us and he made sure that our visit would be great.
While a B&B is a very different experience than a hotel, I would compare his apartment very favorably to a 4-star hotel in terms of quality. In spaciousness, it was even better. And even as senior citizens ourselves, we did not miss any hotel conveniences; in fact, we were better served personally by Francesco than any hotel would provide. Bottom line: Francesco's apartment would be our first choice for a return visit.
Franceso's place was fantastic - exactly as advertised. The location was convenient to the city center and the place was very clean and well kept. Francesco was prompt in communication and very helpful getting around. He also bought us some great yogurt.
We had a great weekend at Francesco's flat.
The apartment, the neighborhood, the welcoming by Francesco... was all excellent.
The apartment look exactly as the photos, everything super modern and clean! There was coffee, tee.. even yoghurt waiting for us.
This was definitely my best experience at Airbnb.
