Peaceful. On a trout stream. Pets: $10 each/night. Late check in fee after 8:00 pm. First bottle of Dunville maple syrup on the house.

The space
Built 1975 in the traditional Vermont post & beam style by the founders of Hubbarton Forge. Spring-fed well provides delicious water. Off-grid power system: house current from the on-site power station with solar panels charging a battery bank is backed up by generators.

The kitchen will please those who like to cook. Fully functional vintage commercial restaurant range with six open burners, double oven and griddle/broiler. Commercial vent hood. Sharp cutlery. Full selection of enameled cast iron and steel cookware. Butcher block center island. Maple floor in the kitchen.

71 years old, living off the grid on private land within the Green Mountain National Forest in the Dunville section of Woodford on Stamford stream. Fly-fisherman, pilot, cook, living a green lifestyle. Winter access by snowmobile.
