We strongly recommend Zoe & Rene 's property as a good value for spending time in Sydney. Good, clean and so close to the heart of central Sydney with very friendly hosts ,it has been a real pleasure to spend our time over there.Thank you Zoe &Rene. Merci beaucoup !
On arrival we were greeted by rene we where later than arranged flights delayed by 2 hours but he waited patiently for us. The house and area is lovely, all shops within short walking distance. The home itself has a real family feel to it and you just know that there's great memories shared in it and everyone who stays here will be adding their own to it. Buses to the city that you can get would be the 370 taking you to broadway street(great shopping centre by too) which is short walking distance to central train station the 370 stops just above the house. The 470 a further walk into town will take you all the way into city running down George Street stopping at circular Quay (ferries. Opera House, harbour Bridge are all here within short walking distance) getting a weekly zone ticket would be handle if your going to using buses trains ferries etc for touring very good value. As mentioned forest lodge is a lovely area and the house is located nicely outside the city you will enjoy your stay as you are left to enjoy the house without interference and compete trust by rene and zoe is invaluable and we thank them for our great stay in forest lodge and rate them very highly we have great respect for them you would do well to find better hosts and a family run house to stay in at a very reasonable price. We would happily stay again in the near future when we go back if bookings are available. Thank you guys really enjoyed our week in Sydney.
We were up in Sydney for a week for my husband's operation and we wanted surroundings that were conducive to his recuperation plus had easy access to day-to-day amenities but not bang in the CBD (as we simply did not have energy to contend with traffic). So this was a perfect balance. It was quiet, peaceful, close to amenities but away from hustle and bustle. What we loved most about the house was it's chef's kitchen. It had quality cookware, copper pans, iron cast pans, wide range of utensils and an excellent oven - for those who enjoy cooking, you'll understand the difference. Sitting outside on the verandah with the birds for breakfast and morning tea was pure delight. It's a good set up and for those who seek a home away from home, you'll be settled in no time. Rene was very friendly and welcoming. We loved our stay and we were sad to be leaving. But we'll be back again.
We had a great time staying here and look forward to booking our next trip. It's close to the city and backs on to a wonderful park. The house was comfortable and clean. The hosts were lovely.
This is a great place to stay. Very close to the city but peaceful and relaxing at the same time. The property backs on to one of the best parks in Sydney and it is very close to everything. Rene was very considerate and accommodating.
We are an Australian couple who spent most of last year travelling around the world. Now that we are back in Sydney, we would like to share the same experience we had via AirBNB with other travellers.
We are happy, polite, clean, quiet, respectful, independent, honest and easy going people. Rene is half french, so he speaks fluently and i'm in the early stages of learning :)
Hopefully we will see you soon! Thank you, Zoe and Rene
