This is a quiet, family-friendly, walkable neighborhood near the heart of Brownstone Brooklyn, (email hidden)ly restaurant and bar scene. Park Slope has been named New York's most livable neighborhood.
It's 15 minutes door-to-door to lower Manhattan (East Village, West Village, Lower East Side, Soho, Chinatown), and 25 minutes to Midtown, on the F and R trains. 20-30 minutes to North Brooklyn or Queens on the G train. Anna's condo in Brooklyn was gorgeous, spacious and clean. The building is brand new and the apartment itself has a huge open kitchen, big bathroom and floor to ceiling windows in the living room and large bedroom for amazing views of Brooklyn and Manhattan. Communicating with Anna was easy, the neighborhood is conveniently located to several train lines, and she made sure to leave a list of the best coffee shops and restaurants in the neighborhood. Highly recommended for a stay in NYC, especially if you're looking for a "palace in the sky" that is quiet to come home to after a long day of work in the NYC grind.
