This was my first airbnb visit but not my first to Managua. It was an economical hotel and the pool was very nice, as pictured, except that the water was turned off the entire day, on my first full day there. It was, apparently, the water company not the hotel, but honestly I almost left. The people were nice, the bed comfortable, furnishings in need of repair. I was picked up at the airport and told I could be billed or pay the driver $15. I paid the driver $20. Yet still I received a bill for $15 on my credit card--no idea why. My spanish is inconsistently conversational. If you stay here, you should have some spanish skills or you will be frustrated as most of the staff does not speak english. I don't mind, I like being forced to use spanish. It's one reason I travel. I might stay here again. I wouldn't avoid. I assume Carlos will contact me and make right the extra $15 charge.
The listing description was as described. This was a quaint boutique hotel with free breakfast and wi-fi. The staff was helpful in ensuring our needs were met when requested.
We stayed for the night before our flight back home. The hotel was clean, relaxing and the rooms had AC. My only complaint would be the lack of food that was available. The kitchen was only open at very selective times and there aren't any restaurants in the area either. My partner and I ended up just drinking beer and eating a bag of chips. Aside from that we had a great time. It was a lovely way to end our trip.
The Hotel Mozonte shuttle promptly picked us up and after our stay dropped us off at the airport. We ended up staying in the building across the street from the front desk and it was alot quieter. The pool is very nice on a hot Managua afternoon.
The front desk manager was friendly and helpful and speaks very good English. She even arranged for a short tour around town with their local driver. He was great (if you speak some Spanish), took us to a few major sites, and the price was very reasonable.
The bar staff seemed overwhelmed when more than a few tables were full, and oddly would not make mixed drinks. The breakfast was average but included.
The rooms have a/c and a bathroom. I would stay here again.
Accommodation were good. The personal friendly. Breakfast super. A good place to stay. To cool down there is a clean pool. The size of the operation. It feel like a hotel operation and missing contact to the owner, personnel and houseguest. Even dough they been late to pick me up at the airport, and when l arrived in the hotel, there was no room available. But whoever was in charge handled it efficently.
We felt welcome. The room was basic. The bed very comfortable. We had no need for air (website hidden) we kept our window open.
We enjoyed our meal. Due to the open air concept of the restaurant...there were a few smokers.Breakfast could have used 2 servers.
The pool was lovely. Lots of day use on
Sunday. Quiet at night.
excellent customer service, hotel was exactly what we were led to expect.
