About This Listing
Come stay with us while you're in town! A Private Bedroom and Bathroom await with a comfy Queen Bed. You'll have access to fast wireless internet, washer & dryer, and TV w/ cable in the shared living space. Downtown Seattle is just 15 miles away!
Our space will comfortably accommodate 2 people. Guests are free to use our kitchen and living space. Trader Joe's and QFC are about a block away for guests who may want to buy food for themselves. There are also several decent restaurants within walking distance.
One thing we would like our guests to know is that we do have a small dog. Gabby is a hypo allergenic yorkie-lhasa. She is pretty well behaved and loves to show you her tricks! If you're a dog lover, she will be a perfect fur-friend-away-from-home. If you're not a dog lover, we will do our best to keep her out of your business.
You will also have access to a private gym, billiards and ping-pong / yoga room and we are just a furlong away from the Marymoor trail if you feel the need to exercise.
Guests will have access to a Private Bedroom and Private Bathroom (with standing shower). Common space includes the kitchen and living room. Guests are invited to join us in the living space if we are home. We are a friendly couple who enjoy meeting new people. Our Bedroom and Bathroom will be considered off limits, unless we are offering the entire place while out of town.
Interaction with Guests
During the week, we would likely be home. We are an outgoing pair, likely to offer you to join us for dinner or join us for a night out on the town. However, we understand that not everyone prefers a high level of interaction. If you prefer to keep it all business, just say so!
Trader Joe's, QFC, and a wide variety of restaurants will keep you well fed! Access to the 520 and 405 are close by. The local bus connection is just down the block, and Downtown Seattle is just 15 miles away!
As described above, public transit and main highways are very accessible from our place. Travel to Downtown Seattle is 24 mins on a good day to 45 mins on a busy day. We have a few tips on affordable parking and getting around Downtown.
Other Things to Note
If you are requesting to stay with us, we would like to see a picture and some details filled out in your profile. It is also considerate to give us a few details about your visit in your request to stay. Thank you!
Just a few rules:
1. Pick up after yourself.
2. If you need something/need help, ask for it.
3. No smoking inside the apartment complex gates.
4. We would love to accept pets, but as Gabby is the Queen Dog around here... She requests that she be the only pet here.
Adi was a fantastic host! Very accommodating and made me feel welcome right away. Also there's lots of shops and restaurants nearby easily within walking distance. Great location for commuting to Bellevue or Seattle as well. I would highly recommend staying here!
Sadly, Nichole was out of town when we (my brother and I) were staying in Redmond, so I did not get the chance to meet her. That aside, Adi was a GREAT host and their apartment is a first-rate place to stay in Redmond, particularly if you want to pay a reasonable price. After a hard day and a long delayed flight, Adi picked me up from the airport and bought me dinner to help me out after a tough and frustrating day. That should give you a good sense of how hospitable and gracious this listing is. Room is spacious and the facilities are great--definitely works for one or two people. Kitchen was also useful and pleasant. Redmond is a great little town with a few things to see and do in walking distance, and its also a great base for hanging out in Seattle, as regular buses leave from the transit plaza literally 30 seconds from the front door. One thing to note though, is that Adi (and I assume Nichole) want to meet cool and interesting people and interact with them. they really want to get to know their guests. This is great for me, but if you're thinking you just want to hang out by yourself and not be forced to interact with anyone, you may wish to consider a hotel. On the whole, I recommend Adi and Nichole's enthusiastically.
Noah, we really enjoyed having you and Jared over and enjoyed conversations with you. The whole concept of airbnb is based on interaction with people and experiencing a city through the eyes of a local. However, as much as we enjoy social interaction, I'd like to think we don't force people to interact with us. We've had several guests who like to keep to themselves and we are respectful of their personal space and happy to let them enjoy their solitude.
Adi was a terrific host! Within just literally a few hours, Adi was responsive in arranging a room to stay for a couple of nights. This flexibility was a life saver for me since I needed to find a place but just not any place. The bedroom and bathroom were great from cleanliness, accessibility, location, and accessories. Adi provided me access to a nearby fully equipped gym to fulfill my routine workout. They also offered me snacks and even dinner and breakfast! From responsiveness, affordability, and going the extra mile - this place is a gem and the host is awesome! Two thumbs up!
Hosts made us very welcome and we felt at home very quickly. Adi and Nichole live close to major shops and entertainment but also close to nature. Easy to get in and out of downtown Seattle to. Adi went out of his way to offer guidance and took extra steps to ensure we were well fed with his great cooking.
Thx for a fun enjoyable stay.
Aditya and Nicole were fantastic! They treated me as a guest and were very generous and helpful. One day I had to go to downtown Seattle and Aditya was in the area so he gave me a ride back to their apartment. They offered me samples of their food and drinks and made sure I had everything that I needed. I had to extend my stay for one night due to logistical reasons and they were very generous about that too. They also gave me useful tips about living in the area (and life in general lol). All the basic amenities you would expect to have during a temporary stay were there. Overall they were very friendly and staying in their apartment was much closer to staying at a friend's then staying in a hotel. I would highly recommend!!
