Response from Ian:

Thank you for your review - all of which is appreciated.
Firstly I would like to thank you for the manner in which you left the cottage after your stay. This was very much appreciated and helped immensely with house-keeping.
This is the first occasion that I have had anything other than positive feedback in relation to the beds. I have registered your observations and should the issue be raised at any point again in the future, I will of course replace the beds in question without delay.
With regards to the front door lock, it is a standard "off the shelf " door lock as supplied by any doors manufacturers.
It is appreciated locking it may cause an issue to someone on the initial occasion they go to do so, so it is something which I will ensure I demonstrate with all future guests.
As the door unlocks like any other door I see no reason why this would present itself as a hazard should it need to be opened in a hurry, but thank you once again for your feedback.
Thank you for staying with us and it was a pleasure hosting you in Kinsale. I am thrilled you enjoyed your stay.
Kind Regards,
