Chalet directly on the Chestatee River. Sleeps 6 adults and 4 children. There are three bedrooms and an open loft with bunk beds. Charcoal grill with picnic table and fire pit. The river is stocked with various trout. 6 person covered hot tub. Within a few miles to local wineries, six miles from downtown Dahlonega and 18 miles from the town Helen. We are not an event facility. Pets accepted with extra fee. Home is powered by a Generac generator. Lumpkin County Short Term Rental #26

The space
Very private setting directly on the Chestatee River. Appointed with all necessary essentials. Hot tub, puzzles, games, smart tv with streaming only. We do not have cable or local channels.
The property will be professionally decorated for the holidays December 1st through mid January.

Guest access
Guest can access the entire property of 20 acres. Guests may enter the river. Swim at your own risk. It is recomended to enter the river with a kayak or canoe.

Other things to note
The driveway is actually a road and must not be blocked at any time. From time to time other vehicles or pedestrian traffic may cross by. We accommodate only 4 vehicles on the parking pad. If you need extra parking accommodations please reach out. We are not an event facility. We sleep 6 adults and 4 children.
Unless late check out is approved, there will be a $20 charge for every 15 minutes past check out time.

Neighborhood highlights

Lewis Grindle road is gravel road with slight disrepair. It is a typical suburban road that has not been paved by the county. Please drive slowly until you see our paved driveway with our River Edge Chalet sign on the right.
Rarely GPS tries to send you through Hollybrooke Road. Please do not use this road as it is in disrepair. Lumpkin County allows shooting of firearms during daytime and night time. We prohibit the use of firearms for any reason other than self defense on our property.
