Gorgeous and clean 2 bedroom apartment located in sunny, Nice building with great views to Amsterdam @ 84th street. Quiet apartment is 2 blocks from Central Park, Riverside Park and two short street blocks to the subway. 15 minute walk to Lincoln Center, 5 minute walk to the Museum of Natural History and 20 minute walk to Columbus Circle as well as to the Metropolitan Museum.
The apartment is spacious and stylishly furnished, has great views, brand new queen sized beds, good heating and air conditioning, a dishwasher, coffee maker, hard wood floors, new appliances and wi-fi Internet. The building has a small gym as well. Very safe building with cameras.
Clean and FRESH linens provided.
Apartment is less than a minute walk to the 1 subway line and close to the A/C line as well! Grocery store is right across the street. Cute sidewalk cafes and great restaurants are right outside the door.
The apartment was comfortable and had the basic things needed to get by. The location was wonderful and convenient to everything. I was spoiled by my first experience with Airbnb in San Francisco, because my hosts were very accessible and wanted to make sure that we had a great time in their place. This wasn't like that. It is not a bad thing, but not what I expected. The one issue that I did have was that the front door keys were very difficult to work and it is disconcerting to be on the street unable to open a door. I made my host aware and hopefully it will be looked into.
What a great place to stay! Clean, cozy and comfortable with a great sushi restaurant right next door and close grocery and coffee shops to make the place feel like home. The subway is just around the corner, too, so the rest of New York is right at your fingertips.
Wifi was fast, HDTV was a nice way to unwind at the end of the day. We'll definitely be back!
This apartment is at great location, subway is within 5 min walk distance, and restaurants are nearby. The rooms are very clean and equipped with everything you want! I mean they even prepared cooking oil and tea! Very sweet.
I will recommend this apt for my friends if anyone wants to visit NYC next time!
We had a very pleasant stay. It is modern, clean and very well located. It's close to the subway and Central Park. Max and Inga were always available for questions. This apartment is recommended!
We had a nice stay at the apartment. It was clean, spacious, and decorated. We didn’t use the kitchen but I noticed that it was stocked with kitchen supplies (plates, cups, silverware, paper towels) and other basic spices as well as a large refrigerator. There was also a dining table in the kitchen that was useful, though it made the area a bit cluttered. The first bedroom was on the smaller side (right next to the front door), fitting only a bed and nightstand but was otherwise suitable (although a bit stuffy). The living room had a large couch, coffee table, and TV with a wide variety of channels. There was also Internet that was a bit spotty at times, but useable for basic needs. The bedroom bordering the living was larger and the closet was filled with a giant bag of clean linens, towels, and a queen? sized air mattress. We used it the first day but because it was so large, we decided to sleep on the couch, which was comfortable as well.
Surrounding the apartment was a nice neighborhood with a variety of restaurants, central park, and the subway. We were about a 15 or 20 minute ride from Time Square.
We didn’t have any issues so didn’t call with any questions, but check in and out was no hassle.
Great place I would fully recommend it to anybody that needs an apt in NYC.. Very clean and modern with great WIFI and a HDTV, the shower (Very important to us!) was hot with a good flow. Overall a very nice place at a good location. I can't wait to stay there again!!
The apartment was a great place to stay. Short walk to the subway. Both bedrooms had good sized beds for two people to sleep on as well as a very comfortable couch with blankets and pillows available. Apartment was also very clean upon arrival. We talked with Max and Nancey and both were great and always answered their phones. On first arrival we had an issue with our keys and they resolved it immediately. Over all great place and experiencing and would highly suggest everyone stay here!
We had a very nice stay on this flat. It is modern, clean and very well located. Max was always available for any question or matters. Very good !
Inga just had a baby when we arrived so Nancy greeted us. We were told we were the first to stay at this apartment, and so it is not surprising that there were unforeseen problems that were not encountered before. For one, the internet couldn't work but Max had it resolved the next day (just a matter of wrong password). The ad for this apartment said there was a small gym, doorman & laundry but there wasn't any of these. Max & Inga were apologetic, saying they cut and pasted that line from another apt of theirs. They reimbursed us our laundry expenses ++ (laundry is just opposite the apt but there's another 1 2 blocks to the right as wyou walk out, which was cheaper). You get noise at night from people going up stairs as well as frm the heating system. The location was great for us with young kids - it's on the grd flr, 1 min walk to No. 1 subway (which takes you pretty much anywhere Manhattan quickly), Children's museum was 1 block away, Central Park was about 20 mins walk & a small supermarket just a few doors away. The apt needed more utensils but we were pleased that they thought of basic groceries like cooking oil, coffee, sugar, salt and spiced. The apt was modern & tastefully furnished and we enjoyed it. Despite being new parents (& we know how time-consuming that is), Max & Inga were quick to respond to our problems and that is impressive. If we went back to NY again, we would rent from Inga and Max again - they really are good people.
