The Space

This large, very sunny one-bedroom apartment measures about 650 square-foot in a lovely brownstone building on Manhattan's Upper West Side.

It's located just a few steps from Central Park in a charming neighborhood filled with wonderful cafes, bars and restaurants. The flat sits on a very quiet, tree-lined street that's dotted with prewar Beaux-Arts and landmark brownstone buildings.

The three - room flat has air conditioning and includes WiFi and TV. It has a newly renovated kitchen and wonderfully renovated bath in a well-appointed, very clean and quiet apartment with modern decor. The apartment has a full-size bed, hardwood floors, 10-foot high ceilings and plenty of natural light. All utilities, linens, towels etc are included in the price. There are no extra cleaning fees. This is not a share. You will have it to yourself.

The apartment is centrally located to many subway stations and not far from Lincoln Center and the Museum of Natural History.

The Neighborhood

If you've seen a leafy, residential Manhattan neighborhood depicted on TV or in the movies, there's a decent chance it was the Upper West Side. It's where Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks lived in You've Got Mail, where Jerry made his home on Seinfeld (and in real life) and where Liz Lemon lived on 30 Rock. Chuck Bass owned a hotel there on Gossip Girl.

Most visitors ans locals love the local flavor and the fact the area attracts people from around the world and across all generations.

The Upper West Side is bracketed by Central Park and Riverside Park. There's culture, in the form of the American Museum of Natural History, the Beacon Theatre and Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. And plenty of shopping, eating and nightlife as well. Read on for details about what to see and do.

Getting Around

There are several easy subway and bus connections in and around the apartment and the UWS. Take the 1, 2 or 3 , or C or B trains to 86th Street. The red line (1, 2, 3 trains) stops along Broadway. The B and C lines stops along Central Park West.
