The Squirrel’s Nest is a 280 square foot treehouse, with a loft and two balconies, nestled between two fir trees 15 feet above ground in the suburbs of Redmond, Washington. It sleeps up to four, is insulated, heated, and wired for electricity. If you’d like to get away from the hustle and bustle of Seattle and live peacefully in the trees during your visit to the area, please contact us for more information.

The space
The Squirrel's Nest Treehouse is located on one end of our property. Since we have many animals here, we ask that you do not bring any pets with you.

We are offering the Squirrel’s Nest Treehouse for those who want to enjoy time relaxing and sleeping in the trees. You are welcome to come here for a get away or special occasion, but please understand that this is NOT a venue for parties or special events. Only those who are sleeping in the treehouse are allowed. You are not allowed to invite over other people to look at or stay in the treehouse. The treehouse is a unique structure and is not designed for large groups, and we do not have additional parking space. No commercial photography is allowed. By registering to stay here, you acknowledge that you understand these rules about this unique BnB.

The treehouse is accessible by a spiral staircase that leads to a fairly steep staircase. It has high decks, and therefore is potentially hazardous. All guests must take all reasonable precautions on the stairs and when out on the decks. Wood decks and stairs can be slippery when wet, so you must use the handrails. Also, for everyone's safety, PLEASE NOTE that all children must be supervised, and must never be permitted to roam freely on the decks, landings or stairs!

Guest access
We invite you to explore the trails around the front of the property. You can also find longer trails nearby. The back of our property is private.

Other things to note
When you arrive, look for the driveway with a GATE. Please do not go to our neighbor's house. Drive up to the gate and use the Airbnb App to let us know you are here and we will meet you at the gate. (Please note: you will not easily see the treehouse or our ground house from the street. When you find the gate with squirrel's on the sign, you will know you are at the right place.)

We provide a refrigerator, toaster and coffee maker, and have coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. Guests are welcome to bring additional food and store in our small refrigerator.

We offer a simple toilet and sink with cold water. We do not have running hot water nor a shower.
