The host was prompt and organized to meet me at the apartment. The location is great although it is a little small and could use a fresh coat of paint. Definitely value for money and I would stay there again
A few troubles with check-in arrangements, however the place was just as described. Clean and well equipped. Couldn't ask for a better location to explore Darlinghurst/Surry Hills and surrounding city. Made for a good base to see a show at Capitol Theater as well. It was a great weekend!
The studio apartment was clean and had everything we needed in a good location.
The apartment (small kitchen area, with a separate bedroom and bathroom) was clean. We received a warm welcome message from the hosts immediately after the booking, with their contact number. Although we specified the bed arrangement as per instructions, the beds were set differently upon arrival.
Apart from the bed, the apartment was clean, in a quiet location, and included a heater (needed that in that cold night). The shower area was also clean. The building is in the heart of Surry Hills area with plenty of restaurants and shops
cute little place with an amazing location. Did not disappoint. Very clean and with everything provided.
Communication was good, Ed and Andy were quick to respond, but trying to text when you are 20mins away is a bit tricky is you are travelling in another country with no sim and no wifi.
The location is great, lots of places to eat near by and only a short walk to the centre.
Unfortunately we only stayed at the place for a few hrs and ended up booking a hotel for our 2day stay.
The bathroom and kitchen seemed great and clean. The windows seals were however very dirty and the walk up the stairs to the apartment wasn't to pleasant.
The bedroom was incredibly cold, and not to clean i.e. cockroach on the floor and hairs on the sheets and dirty window seal.
Ed and Andy had very kindly left a small electric radiator, unfortunately even when sitting next to it wasn't enough.
The beds were against a wall with the draft coming through, and the air felt quite damp. The double bed is in fact two singles and as we sat on the bed my partner suddenly dropped, the bed was in fact broken as we picked it up, we could see that they had tried to fix it with some wood but it hadn't worked. We ended up trying to fix the beds and move them to a different wall to get away from the draft which seemed to be better. We then tried the tv which was on a desk and then worked out that it was just for show, as there was no plug near and no extension cable to be able to use it.
I think Ed and Andy place is in a great location, and for the price is pretty good. However due to my partner being pregnant the cold and damp environment wasn't suitable and with it not being as clean as we would of liked we ended up staying else just to be on the safe side.
