Wonderful house, great hosts, would definitely stay here again.
what an absolutely gorgeous view. We loved our stay there. It was the first time we had been to the Pacific Northwest and were out there visiting our daughter and her husband. It was convenient to them and (email hidden) to go after a day of sightseeing and playing in the area. The bonus was when the tide was low you could walk along the shore and sanddollars were everywhere. We had so much fun and they were terrific to deal with. We might consider renting the big house but we were lucky to get the cottage on such short notice.
Pulling up to the Puget View Cabin you are greeted with an amazing view of the Puget Sound. The air seemed cleaner here and our family loved it. The kitchen was perfect for our family dinners, game times and reuniting with our soldier son. Sitting on the deck in the evening playing cards or battleship was loved by all of us. We even collected mussels and a few clams from the beach and steamed them. A bonus was that if you kayaked out into the sound you had a spectacular view of Mount Rainier. Internet was dicey, the bed situation was interesting as we wished a trundle bed was in the second bedroom as we had our family of 5 for most of the week and it was tight. A shower is needed as we are not bathers and do prefer taking showers.
Michele was so accommodating to us and I am so grateful to her willingness to work with me. I would recommend this home anyone who is looking for a piece of nirvana.
Loved it, loved it, loved it! A view that was a little slice of heaven, easy access to the beach and a dreamy hammock. Quiet, salt air and the peaceful life. Internet access in the cottage can be tricky (the router is in the house next door), and there is unfortunately no laundry access in the cottage. Otherwise: PERFECT!!!
I was very pleased with Michelle's prompt responses and her detailed information. She was extremely easy to work with. The house was beautiful, accommodating and well worth the price. The view of Mt. Rainier is unbelievable! It was a perfect get-away for our girls' weekend.
