Description

The space

The apartment has one of the most breathtaking views in Diablerets. You can also ski in/ski out directly onto the Isenau pistes, as long as you are comfortable on blue slopes.

Free parking right outside the chalet, hot & powerful shower (essential after a chilly day on the slopes!), open fire and a private terrace with amazing views.
We have wifi and a DVD player with a selection of DVDs (you can rent others in the village). The wifi is 3G speed and limited to around 1GB per week, so it is designed to be usd to browse the internet and read emails, rather than for streaming video.

We aim to reply to every email as quickly as possible and are always available by telephone to all guests with a confirmed booking.

I know I keep saying it .... but the view really is gorgeous! Being above the main town means that the area is also very quiet and excellent for star gazing at night. You are also within easy reach of the glacier 3000, as well of course as the main village.

There is a postbus from the end of the road, down to the village and up to the glacier 3000. The train stops in the village, coming up from Aigle, which makes the village easily reachable from, for instance, Geneva airport by train.

The apartment is compact, making it lovely and cosy. With a separate bedroom and a double sofa bed in the living room, 4 people are easily accommodated. Please be aware however that the living room is small and once the sofa bed is folded out there is not much room for anything else. The kitchen is along one side of the living room.

The apartment is a 20 minute downhill walk to the village Main Street.

Guest access

Free parking right outside the chalet (one space guaranteed for the apartment), a lovely hot shower (essential after a chilly day on the slopes!), open fire and a private terrace with amazing views.

We have wifi and a DVD player with a selection of DVDs (you can rent others in the village).

The neighborhood

I know I keep saying it .... but the view really is gorgeous! Being above the main town means that the area is also very quiet and excellent for star gazing at night. You are also within easy reach of the glacier 3000, as well of course as the main village.

Getting around

There is a postbus from the end of the road, down to the village and up to the glacier 3000. The train stops in the village, coming up from Aigle, which makes the village easily reachable from, for instance, Geneva airport by train.

The apartment is above the main village, like most of the accomodation, on the sunny side of the valley. In winter you can ski in/ski out to the Isenau ski area, snow permitting. Otherwise it is a 25 minute walk down to the village / Isenau cable car, or 5 minutes by car. To get to the Meilleret cable car takes 35 minutes by foot, or 10 minutes by car.

Other things to note

The apartment is compact, making it lovely and cosy. With a separate bedroom and a double sofa bed in the living room, 4 people are easily accommodated. Please be aware however that the living room is small and once the sofa bed is folded out there is not much room for anything else. The kitchen is along one side of the living room.

House Rules
No smoking
Check in is anytime after 2PM

There is no smoking of any kind allowed inside the apartment.
We ask that guests leave their shoes/boots on the shoe tray provided in the kitchen in front of the radiator.
There is one parking space guaranteed for the apartment, if you come in more than one car you may be asked to move the additional cars if the apartments are really full (usually only at very peak times).

Mostly we would just like people to feel comfortable and at home, and enjoy a peaceful and relaxing visit to Diablerets.

Emma was a great host and helpful and efficient at all stages of the process. The apartment is small for 4 but the view is stunning and Les Diablerets is the perfect village for skiing. We had a great time staying over the New Year.

Emma was a fantastic host, always answering all of my questions extremely fast. The apartment is small but very cozy and she had everything that we needed for our stay. We had 3 adults and one dog and it was a little bit tight but actually worked out great. When the 2 other adults in our group came over to visit it was pretty tight but we made it work and had a wonderful time. We loved the fireplace, especially after a long day on the glacier! And the view is spectacular. I would highly recommend this apartment and any other apartment rented by Emma!

Emma's flat is in a superb location with amazing direct views of mountains from the (hopefully!) sun-drenched terrace. It is very cosy with a welcoming feel. We loved the fireplace and the kitchen had everything that was needed. The fact that our 2 dogs were welcomed was a bonus. Emma is an excellent host whose communications with us have always been timely and helpful. We highly recommend this apartment.
