The Space

We are young owners and we love to meet people, for this reason we have started this business. We like to talk and go out with ours guests, as well as to show Granada and ours culture.
We love cinema, the house is decorated about it. We have different images about famous charapters of the cinema in original pictures. If you like cinema, seguratly you love our house.
Also, we have different comun spaces where you can meet people, the dining room, the "patio" and the terrace. At night you can have a drink with other people and enjoy the granadine night.

Things To Do In Granada

La Alhambra: The ancient palace of the Moorish kings of Granada, this impressive edifice perches on a hilltop overlooking the city. Throughout its long history, it has been built and rebuilt many times, leading to some beautiful and varied architecture especially within the Palace of the Nazarids.

Entry: €7 to €13 depending on how much you want to see. Buy (email hidden) or at La Caixa ATMs (booking ahead is strongly recommended, especially in peak season)

Albayzin: The old Muslim quarter of the city. A beautiful labyrinth of whitewashed buildings and old mosques, full of tiny plazas and great tapas bars. The views from the top at Plaza San Nicolas are worth the climb!

Sacromonte: The heart of Granada´s Gypsy, or Roma, community is also one of the birthplaces of flamenco. Many houses here are caves that were carved out of the mountain’s soft rock and wandering its streets is a unique experience!

Cathedral: Granada Cathedral is an imposing building constructed to celebrate the Catholic reconquista of the city. It contains many impressive features, including a huge altar and pipe organ.

Mirador de San Nicolás: If you buy a postcard of the Alhambra, chances are the photo was taken from here! Beautiful views of the city and Granada’s most famous monument.

La Cartuja: A beautiful 500 year old old monastery with an amazing ceiling!

Plaza de Toros: That most traditional of Spanish sports, bullfighting takes place from March to November at this arena.

Sierra Nevada: Granada has the best skiing in southern Spain, and even if you’re not heading up the mountain, the beauty of this snowcapped range dominates the city in the colder months.

Nightlife: Granada is famous for its nightlife, with people from all over Spain (and the world!) descending on the city every weekend to party. The university means that there’s a huge population of young people, and drinks are priced to fit even the tightest student/backpacker budget! Oh, and most bars give you free tapas when you buy a drink!

  • Great experiencing and stay at the Dolce Vita Grananda. Centralized and very close to everything. Walking distance to the metro and may great Tapas Bars. Very clean and nice patio.

  • We had a good time at Dolce Vita.
Close to the city and walking distance to everything.
As we were a big group of 16 people, it was very nice that they were very flexible with our different arrival times and very friendly with any questions we had.
We used the roof terrace a lot and even had a big BBQ with the grill that was available to use.
The breakfast was very simple, but it filled you up.
The only minuses were that there might not have been enough toilets and baths for the total amount of people staying at the hostel and that the kitchen at times (especially right when we arrived) was a bit dirty.

  • Dolce Vita is a great hostel! The people were really friendly and very helpful when we had to check out really early and then come back to pick up stuff and shower: life savers! The hostel itself is clean and really well set out with a great patio and roof terrance, really comfortable, I wish we coud have stayed there longer!! Highly recommended.

  • Great hostel, amazing rooftop, very nice and helpful staff. The whole place is cleaned every day. Had a really nice time there, recommend!

  • A busy dorm style hostal. Nice clean room with bunk beds which were surprisingly comfortable. The staff is young and very helpful. They did all they could to accommodate and make things work as well as giving helpful ideas about getting around the city and seeing what we wanted to see. Lots of young people staying there but they were very friendly and considerate and it was not noisy at night.

    April 2014
  • Very friendly and fun atmosphere. The first night we got to stay in the private room with two beds and had our own bathroom, which was fantastic. The second night they moved us into a different for spatial reasons and we had to share the only bathroom, which was on the second floor. Overall not a bad place to spend the weekend at all.

    February 2014
  • Everything was ok but it was cold in the room. The heater was not working very well and one of the door of toilet was not been able to close. Yess, breakfast was good and plus point.

    December 2013
  • We slept just one night at the hostal, and evrything went really good! the hostal is perfectly located, it was easy to find a parking close to the place, our room was big and close to a nice terrace. The people there is really nice, we had a good stay!
