DUE TO COVID-19, WE ARE NOT OFFERING USE OF THE CAMPER BUT WILL PROVIDE Two options for a campsite one in a secluded area right on the stream and the other one in an open area on our pond. And we also have a one bedroom vacant apartment that you will have access to a full bath and a kitchen with refrigerator. Rustic and comfortable glamping experience nestled in the woods of our small farm. If you are looking for a unique and affordable getaway try this out!

The space
Please bring your own tent, pads and sleeping bags with you. And you have access to all the amenities on the grounds and to the vacant one bedroom apartment where you have the use of a full bathroom and kitchen with refrigerator. We have created an outside space where you can comfortably be together with a covered area, a table and fire pit with chairs. You can also cook outside on our camping stove.

We have an outside covered eating/cooking area as well as a fire pit and hammock. You are welcome to enjoy the other amenities of our property such as visiting the farm animals, walking on our forest trail, fishing or swimming in our pond. We are located near many other outdoor activities such as Catamount, Columbia County Land Conservation Areas, Hawthorne Valley Farm and we are conveniently located for scenic and challenging cycling or running. Just 5 minutes from a natural foods store, many farm stands and 10 minutes to Philmont, 15 minutes to Chatham and 25 minutes from downtown Hudson and Great Barrington.

Guest access
You have full access to the two camp sites and additional outside seating and covered camping area.
/- info below is for camper not tent stays
We have a private outdoor shower and changing area, we have a propane water heater that goes up to (114 degrees) to maintain a warm shower. There is a changing area attached, it's similar to a shower stall with changing area you find in some gyms. We have hooks to hang your clothes, towels etc. . We can only offer this outdoor shower when temperatures are above 35 degrees and therefore will shut it down by the end of October (most likely). We have a laundry line to hang your wet towels from near the camper as well. For longer stays and if your towel doesn't dry we offer additional towels (no cost) on request and laundry service for $5 a load. If it's super cold outside we will also offer indoor showers at our house. -/

Other things to note
Please treat our camper and property as your own or better, we ask that you leave the space as you found it and make sure to take any trash with you or place it in our trash bin.

We suggest you bring a sleeping bag, just in case the night is cold. We do offer pillows, sheets and light blankets. And we have covers on the mattresses.

**We do have a propane space heater for the camper, but for safety reasons we must show you how to use the heater and therefore it needs to be requested prior to your visit ideally so we can arrange a time to go over using it.

If you want to cook on the stove in the camper we have stocked it with a pot and pan, cutlery, plates and cups. The stove is close to the sleeping area so we also offer an outdoor cook stove. Please let us know if you plan to cook inside the camper.

CHECK-OUT: As we do not charge a cleaning fee please follow our "check-out" list posted to make sure the place is clean and we can get ready for our next guests, if you do not follow the check-out instructions we will charge you an additional $20. Check-out time is 11am, if you need to stay beyond this please let us know as we arrange our cleaning right after check-out. If you stay beyond an agreed upon time we will charge you an extra day's stay at $50/day. We have had guests not following these house rules so we have to be clear about our expectations and your responsibility as our guests. Please also make sure to leave any $ for firewood bundles you used, they are $5/bundle.

We are 2.5 miles from Old Tone Music Festival.

We are on a beautiful road, our neighbors are seen daily walking on the road. It's a beautiful stretch of the country and a lovely setting for a run, bike ride or walk. We are on a quiet wooded road.
