Federico's apartment is just great. Spacious, best location, and he let us leave our luggage in the apartment before the check in time.
We stayed for 2 nights and we had to pay an extra 50 euros for cleaning expenses. That was not nice.. And should be covered by the price we had payed already
Fantastic 1st floor apartment, centrally located in Florence in a very safe neighbourhood. The apartment is very spacious, comfortable bed, large kitchen and living space. Would definitely recommend booking for a short or long stay in Florence. Great host who makes check in and check out very easy. When we return to Florence we will certainly re-book this place. We were able to walk everywhere we needed to get to, the apartment is less than 10mins walk from some of the major sights in Florence, and it is lovely to come home and relax in a large living space while watching the world go by from the windows. There's a great cafe a few doors up from the building which is great for breakfast, and there is even a Roberto Cavalli cafe at the top of the street if you want to really treat yourself!
The apartment was very nice, and in a great location. Federico was very nice, met us on time and even helped us with our luggage up the stairs. He explained everything very clearly and succinctly and then he was off. The apartment was very spacious but was darker than it appeared in the photos. It would have been nice to have furniture in the courtyard as advertised, even nicer if it had been swept. WiFi worked beautifully, apartment was neat and clean and had a lovely view into the street below. We could have done with a few more hangers and pillows. The food at the Trattoria next door was mediocre but it has a good atmosphere. Apartment was very close to the Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi, the Duomo, Mercato Centrale (I strongly suggest going there) and the Santa Maria Novella train station. Lots of steps up into apartment but what would Italy be without them. All in all a good experience.
The apartment was great in a fantastic location with easy walking distance to anywhere you would want to go. The lighting and seating in the living room could be improved with table lamps and comfortable chairs. Also, a list of available services (recycling? garbage pickup?), restaurants, groceries, etc., should be provided to help future tenants navigate the town.
This apartment is in the best spot (in my opinion) in Florence and highly recommend staying here!
