This is the kind of amazing experience that would have been nearly impossible to have found before Airbnb: Staying in a semi-rural neighborhood in a 300-year-old stone mill house that has been impeccably renovated. The place is far lovelier than the photos can show, has am amazing sea and mountain view, and comes with access to the very big family garden below, filled with fruit trees and layers of areas that our two young children loved playing in. Ana was a kind and generous host. Thank you, Ana! We hope to encourage everyone we know to come to Montenegro just to stay in your lovely place :)!
The house was as depicted on the website. Our hostess -Ana met us at a pre-arranged spot in Bar and led us to her lovely house in the hills. A car is essential if staying here, as the nearest mini market is about 10 mins drive and restaurant about 15 mins. The driveway is also very steep although Ana did show us a spot we could leave the car without going down the drive. The view over the cost was very calm and beautiful especially at sun set. Quiet neighbourhood and a couple of friendly cats and dogs met us at the door each morning. Ana had left some homemade cake in the fridge and invited us to use any of the spices etc in the kitchen. There was also a fruit/veg garden opposite the property and we were able to pick fresh limes, tomatoes, apricots and plums to add to our picnic. Alcohol was also available if wanted. Lots of details like a hairdryer, extra blankets, clothes drier added to the experience. If you like a quiet spot with great views this house is for you !
The Old Mill Stone House is great. We loved to be there and are sure to come back in the future. Furthermore the garden is great. Ana was very friendly and helpful. Finally the place was the best we ever were with Airbnb.
