Our fun, sunny, classic railroad-style apartment is colorful and spacious and in what has become the hottest neighborhood in NYC. Enjoy the local experience of Williamsburg, Brooklyn in our home. Perfect for one or two people.
This is a great 'railroad' style apartment - it has four rooms - one big master bedroom with great light, an office area (which we call the music room), an open living room with a sleeper couch and plasma screen tv, and a spacious, fully stocked, eat-in kitchen with a dining nook, and a small bar with stools we like to call "The Corner." This is a wonderful old classic apartment in the heart of the very hip and fun neighborhood of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The ceilings have original tin tiles, different in each room, and the apartment has hardwood floors.
The apartment is on the second floor - quiet and friendly building. It is fabulous for one person, and perfect for a couple. Includes wifi & direct TV.
The whole apartment is yours to enjoy during your stay.
Interaction with Guests
I enjoy hosting but also travel a lot and respect privacy. I am happy to assist with your visit in any way. Please write to me first with an inquiry and allow me a few hours to respond rather than just requesting a booking. Thank you!
Williamsburg has got a great vibe - fun, artsy, immediately surrounding us are mom & pop shops and old Italian bakeries, great restaurants, excellent bars, cafes & boutique shops. A shot walk west and you are by the water with stunning views of Manhattan and all the new bars and clubs popping up all the time. Our apartment is on a lovely and quiet street but surrounded by stuff to do. A ten minute walk to the north is McCarren Park, which has a running track. And south of us is the famed Williamsburg Bridge, which many like to walk, run, bike. This is a fun, cool and safe neighborhood just across the East River.
It is a 6 minute subway ride on the L train to lower Manhattan - the East Village and Union Square and 10 minutes to Chelsea. The L train crosses all of Manhattan on 14th street, so you can easily get to the west side, and easily transfer to any other train in the city. You can catch the L a few blocks from our place in two spots - the Lorimer stop or the Graham stop. There is also the J/M/Z train a 15 minute walk from our place - that train will take you directly to the Lower East Side within minutes.

There is no smoking allowed in the building. Please be respectful of our space and our neighbors. If you haven't been to New York before, we are a lot of people in a small space. Please be always mindful not to make noise in the hallway when you're coming in or going out. All other 'rules' are just basic common sense: please clean up after yourself and wash dishes that you use. We will provide all bed linens and towels - and you can just leave these for us at the end of your stay. And enjoy our home – have a great time!
We spent a long weekend at Ronit and Bradley's place and this was great. The apartment is larger than it looks on the pictures, it is perfectly located in Williamsburg, very close to all the coolest bars and restaurants around while being in a quiet street. I would definitely recommend this place, it's a perfect deal! Thank you!
Ronit's place was amazing! The apartment was located close to the main subways lines and so many great spots in Brooklyn. Ronit was beyond helpful and very accommodating. I would definitely recommend staying here if you want to be out of the hustle of Manhattan, but still close by.
I felt right at home in Ronit's place - excellent neighborhood, close to the subway and a very comfy bed! Logistics such as exchanging keys went smoothly and Ronit provided lots of information about the area. The bathroom is a bit small but that's really the only down side to this place. It was an excellent first airbnb experience!
Ronit’s place was perfect.
We felt at home the minute we arrived.
It’s a nice sunny and clean appartment with everything you need to be happy when travelling.
Location is also great, in a nice neighborhood, close to many fun bars and restaurants.
It’s a 10 min. walk to Bedford Street.
We didn't have the chance to meet Ronit, but the communication with her was really easy and friendly.
We would definitely book this room again and recommend this place to anyone willing to visit NYC and stay in Brooklyn.
This was my first time using Airbnb as well as staying in New York and Ronit and Bradley made the overall experience very comfortable and worthwhile. They were sure to leave an information sheet detailing their emergency contact and great restaurants/sites around the area, they were more than happy to give thorough directions to places my bf and I were interested in seeing, and they even left some exotic coffee and teas with chocolates and clementines purely for our enjoyment! Not to mention, we never needed air or heat. The apartment was perfectly insulated and just the right temperature. Williamsburg was a very quaint area and I am already eager to visit again :)
Great apartment, even nicer than the pictures imply!
It's their home, and you really get that feeling that you're staying in an apartment that someone usually lives in, for better or worse :)
Location is good, in a calm and nice neighborhood, close to the L train that goes straight to manhattan, and 10 min walking distance to bedford ave that has many bars and stuff, although there were things to do in the near vicinity as well.
All applicances and stuff worked ok, everything one would need was there, everything as clean as a lived-in home can possibly be.
All in all a very nice stay!
seems i'm the lucky first to have enjoyed this place. my fiance and i spent a few days here, and it felt like home from the start. it has 'character', and the quality of having been lived-in which lends the space it's whimsey and charm. the railroad style layout, with its 3 distinct and private spaces, is great for lounging/moving around without feeling too constrained, especially as the light/air shifts from front to back through the day. it's a very easy walking distance to greenpoint/williamsburg and to the train to manhattan/other parts of brooklyn. as for ronit herself, well, i'd say she's nothing short of the quintessential easy going, warm, and gracious host.

Hi - I'm a native New Yorker, born and bled, as we say. I grew up in Queens, and now live in Williamsburg, Brooklyn after some years in the East Village. I am a traveler, photographer, and event producer. I've been an airbnb host since 2010 and am a huge fan.
