Plenty of on street parking in a quiet residential tree-lined street; Centrally located, in mid city LA, minutes to charming Larchmont Village where there are many varied international restaurants. Drive or bus east a few minutes along Olympic Blvd, not necessary to get on the freeway( we are so close to downtown)you are downtown where the LA Sports arena and the new Nokia Theater are. Drive west and you are at the Grove and the original Farmer's Market on Third and Fairfax. , LACMA, is at Fairfax and Wilshire; Hollywood a few minutes north, Beverly Hills further west,, along with UCLA in Westwood Village, USC and Loyola Law School both east toward downtown, and LAX.

Walk one block to metro and buses along Wilshire Blvd; UCLA is7.6 miles along Wilshire Blvd ( takes 21 minutes if there is no traffic, USC is 5.6 miles away and takes 12 minutes if there is no traffic along Olympic Blvd), Again, using public transport you have easy access to Law Schools, ESL Schools, movie studios,Paramount, Twentieth Century Fox, Beverly Center and Beverly Hills, Venice Beach and Santa Monica. Close to both the 10 (Santa Monica)and 101 (Hollywood) Freeways;

Have friendly cocker spaniel dogs which are all rescues.

The neighborhood is very quiet, perfect for study; I have hosted writers, law, medical, and grad students, actors and musicians. There is plenty of on street parking in the quiet residential tree lined street, should you need it.

We look forward to making your stay in LA as comfortable and convenient as possible.

If you are considering, i'll recommend you!
    * if you don't like puppy or cat, you don't like there. But all the pets of her are very nice:) I love them!

  • I went To LA during my vacation, and I m been a little unlucky because I felt sick. But Jennifer has been my angel. She treaded me like her son and she helped me a lot. Was not just my host but a really friend those days. Her house is huge, very nice area, beautiful front of house. Very close to Hollywood and good connections to the best beachs's avenues

  • Jennifer is a very gracious host and an interesting person. She makes you feel at home. The room feels very private and the neighborhood is pretty quiet. Parking is super convenient and the location is close to most of the places I needed to be.

  • I had a great time in LA and staying in Jennifer's place made it even better! The room was cute and neat as shown in the picture. Jennifer was very friendly and made me feel like an old friend. I can highly recommend staying at her place when you are in LA. She had four dogs and two cats. They were super friendly and adorable! If you are a pet person, this is a plus! I also love the location of her place. The house really couldn’t be more central, and was ideal if you want to explore the city. It is at the heart of popular tourist sites including Downtown LA, Hollywood, Korea town, the Grove shopping mall, Beverly hills, and Santa Monica! Yet, her place was located in a very nice and quiet residential area so I felt very safe. There were plenty of street parking spots near her house. I found her place at home and relaxing.

  • Jennifer is delightful, she is a caring and generously accommodating host who takes pride in her home. Her efforts in assuring that I was comfortable did not go unnoticed.

The room, bathroom, and entire home is clean... and the bed is lovely! Everything is accurately listed in the description. The location is great, central to all freeways, and only a 10 minute drive to downtown or hollywood. There is plenty of available parking in front of her home in a quiet residential neighborhood. The dogs are well behaved little sweethearts. I would certainly stay here again.

  • What a great find. Lovely area, on a quiet street, a short drive to Downtown, The Grove, Hollywood, West Hollywood etc. Jennifer was very welcoming and has a fantastic home, full of character and charm and the bedroom is both clean and comfortable. I would definately stay here again.

  • Even though my trip started with a big chaos, Jennifer was great how she dealed with it. When I got to her place, I already felt very comfortable. She is a great host, so that you feel like home. Too bad that I couldn't stay longer. The house is a fairy tale with a lot of cute animals in it. And the bed was more than comfortable. When I come back to L.A., I will stay with her again!

  • Jennifer is a joy! This was my first AirBnB experience, as well as my first time in Los Angeles, so I had no idea what to expect. Jennifer could not have been any more accommodating, hospitable, or charming. I often found myself sitting with her in the living room sharing stories a laugh over tea that she had prepared.

Last minute, I took the room which she referred to as the "litte room"- she was being modest to say the least. The room was beautiful with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on, a full closet, plenty of space, and two beautiful windows looking out onto the backyard. The room walked out into a full kitchen and the bathroom was adjacent with a washer and dryer.

Jennifer rents all the rooms out in her home, and although you rarely see the other renters, if you have a chance to stop and chat- do. They are students and young professionals from the area and simply charming. Everybody bears wonderful stories about how they got here and where their path will take them next.

The home itself is a beautiful historic home in a wonderful safe residential area. Being as I just moved here, ease to mass transportation was key. The home is a three minute walk to the bus stop that can get you anywhere.

Be sure you are comfortable with animals as the house is filled with rescue pups and cats. They are the most loving well-behaved little guys, but be sure you wont be spooked by an occasional bark or visit.

My adventure in LA is taking me elsewhere in the city now, but Jennifer and I are already planning to meet for coffee next week; I know that we will continue to be friends for a long time.

Jennifer's home is more than a room rental- it's an experience.

  • Jen pulls out all the stops for her guests -- from goose down pillows and a killer mattress to excellent coffee in the mornings. Our stay felt too short and her dogs are so sweet and friendly. We'll definitely stay with her again!
