A spacious studio on the lower floor (first floor) of this elevated 1899 beautifully restored San Francisco Victorian classic. Bursting with amenities, this studio begs to pamper the independent traveler or couple. With a plush queen-sized bed and separate sleeper sofa, the studio sleeps up to 3.
Bay windows give both plenty of natural light and privacy while overlooking a small front garden. In addition to a spacious and luxurious bathroom with classic claw foot tub, the studio is fully loaded with a new washer, dryer, dishwasher, toaster, microwave and satellite television. Wi-fi is also included.
Ideal for gourmands, the kitchen is fully loaded with a six-burner gas range & stove, a temperature-controlled wine cooler, and a new refrigerator. Bring back fresh produce from any of the many local farmers' markets, and share a meal with friends to experience another of San Francisco's treasures -- its palette.
At the heart of the City, you're steps from Dolores Park, surrounded by classic San Francisco architecture, the last of the independent theaters, local artists, some of the best food in the USA, and the easiest place to catch a bus, train or taxi in SF.
There is a one time cleaning fee of $75.
The apartment is very easily accessible after following Navin's instructions. It is extremely well kept, everything was clean and orderly. The kitchen is outfitted with all the essentials you would need for a few days/week stay if you are interested in cooking at home. The amenities are great--comfortable bed, very functional shower, and roomy sitting area.
It's in a great area if you're looking to stay outside of the downtown area. There are lots of wonderful shops, restaurants, and bars nearby. It's convenient to use public transportation from here. It is also steps away from Dolores Park (would recommend getting Bi-Rite Creamery and then heading over)
There was a bit of early morning noise on the weekends--not sure if it was from the neighbors above or next door.
Nicely located between Castro and Mission, very close to Dolores Park, Tartine Bakery and many restaurants and cafes. Check in and check out was smooth. Navin's apt is clean, well equipped and tastefully decorated. Wifi is fast. Parking is easy, although the 2h limit 8am-9pm, could be a problem. However car is not really needed, public transportation can be used to go to most places (BART and muni). Overall we enjoyed our stay.
Great cozy little abode in an amazingly central area. Superb renovation style and plenty of space for one or two.
Navin's studio, just a few steps from Dolores Park, was absolutely perfect for our visit to family who live near the park as well. The very large studio was immaculately kept. The full size washer/dryer was an added plus since we had come from Hawaii and were glad to be able to do a small wash. The kitchen is large and completely equipped for a much larger space. The neighborhood is lovely and gives easy access to major muni lines. Although Navin was away during our stay, he was very responsive to our few email questions about the flat and we did not need any SF info - although he had a couple of great guide books available for us to look over. We had a couple of chilly days but found that the portable heater that was in the closet was more than adequate for taking the chill off. Directions for accessing both the flat and the internet were clear and simple. We loved this studio which was our first airbnb experience. We will definitely be back!
We couldn't have had a better stay in SF...
Navin's place is located in one of our favourite spots (sunny Dolores Park), and has all the amenities you need; it's like a suite at a boutique hotel, but with all the extra cherries on the top.
Navin was also kind enough to let us leave our bags in the apartment the day we were leaving SF so that we could do some sightseeing without having to carry around all that extra weight. That's bonus points in my book!
Highly recommended, and we will definitely stay here again when we return to SF next time.
Navin was really helpful and responsive. The apartment was clean, well-furnished, stylish and in a GREAT location. I would stay here again.
It was so much more than I expected. Nothing negative to say infact from the minute I pressed BOOK to the time I locked up and left. 100% loved it. Will be back, highly suggest!
Loved this studio in Castro. Great location, very clean, nicely maintained, and comfortable. Everything you would need was there and it is a thoughtful set-up. I'd definitely stay there again!
We stayed there for 4 days and had a great time. The apartment is a typical San Francisco house with wide windows and wooden floor. Even though sometimes it was a bit noisy because of thin walls and ceiling (usual thing for San Francisco citizens), it did not bother us so much. Choosing this apartment you will not spend a lot of time searching for a good place to eat since there are plenty of them in the neighborhood.
Thanks Navin for the accommodation!
The Check in was really easy and simple. The house was also pretty nice, plenty of space. Toilet had no locks from the inside, so I had a problem when my friend came over and I accidentally opened a door. Though I accidentally turned on the fire alarm when cooking, the family who lived on the apartment was nice, and so didn`t bother me for doing things wromg. I would love to come to this place again for a stay.
