Anne-Marie is a perfect host. The breakfast was delicious and filled us up for our days of exploring Dublin and the local countryside. The room we had was comfortable and we slept well. Very good value for money. Can highly recommend. The house is situated very close to a bus stop which we used on several occasions. The Wicklow Way is also very close by for those who are on a walking holiday or like us went out for the day exploring the beautiful Irish scenery. Enniskerry is a half hour walk with several eateries which serve delicious food.

Anne-Marie is a wonderful host, her home and yard is beautiful. She worked with us on check in time and shared her knowledge of the area. Breakfast was delicious.

Pros: Anne-Marie is a very lovely person. She prepared an excellent and individual breakfast. Everything was homemade. She baked fresh scones which we liked very much. The big living room was nicely decorated and we were allowed to play the grand piano and the guitar. The house is surrounded by very nice nature and Anne-Marie advised us to find nice spots. We could easily access the city center of Dublin. Cons: We were disappointed of the sleeping room. It was very small so we could barely find a spot for our suitcases. There was no cupboard to store anything. The mattress was in a very, very bad condition. It was so worn out that I could feel every spring. I woke up with bad back pain. The door handles have been loose and did not work properly. My wife even locked herself in the bathroom and could not open the door. The group in the bed room over our room was awake until after midnight and made a big noise so we could not fall asleep. Other guests also complained about the noise.

Anne-Marie is such a warm, gracious, and helpful host. We stayed here on our first 2 nights in Ireland because we wanted something relatively close to Dublin but in the Wicklow Mountains. The heart of Dublin is easily accessible by car or bus/train. The lovely village of Enniskerry and Powerscourt is about 5 minutes drive away. So - ideal for what we wanted.
