Anne-Marie was a great host, very warm and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay in her comfortable house in the Wicklow mountains, situated near Powerscourt Gardens. Anne-Marie helped us planning hikes around the mountains and even drove us into town so that we could save a taxi ride.
Ann-Marie's bed and breakfast was absolutely darling! Very clean room and living area. She was so friendly and welcoming to us. She made sure we were comfortable with tea and something to eat when we were alittle homesick and jet legged. It is literally only a two minute walk from the shop river bus stop. She is very close to the town of Enniskerry and Powercourt estate which is a must see. She drove us to Powercourt the next morning even though it wasn't too far away but because we had luggage. Ann- Marie's place and Enniskerry was my favourite part of my trip! Beautiful location! Wish we stayed longer!!:)
Une pause d'une nuit très agréable dans cet établissement durant le périple du Wicklow Way. Anne-Marie est au petit soins et rendra la pause plus vivante.
Anne-Marie was an amazing, extremely welcoming host! She went above and beyond, including giving us rides around the area and baking fresh scones. My sister and I absolutely loved our stay at her B&B. The area was perfect for exploring and relaxing, which was exactly what we were looking for. We would definitely stay here again if we're ever back in Wicklow/Enniskerry!!
Anne-Marie was great. Before my arrival she responded to email promptly and answered any questions I had. Upon arrival, she made tea and we had scones (or biscuits, your choice) while chatting about life in general and getting to know one another. She took me on a short tour of the home and told me how everything works. A very lovely woman and welcoming. I loved how there was a sense of family/belonging. I was able to speak with one of her daughters and joined her on two separate occasions to take their dogs for a swim. It was amazing. A real "insiders" perspective. Anne-Marie is incredibly helpful and is willing to go out of her way to make sure you aren't inconvenienced in any way and that you are truly comfortable. I felt like a part of the family. I would definitely stay again if I were to come back to this region. Breakfast was great and there is the option of a packed lunch if you wish..just have to ask (I opted out and found eating at local places quite nice). Anne-Marie also offered suggestions on meal venues such as Johnnie Fox's Irish Pub (highly recommend). She was always making sure that I was comfortable. Very personable. As stated before she's an absolutely lovely person. I wish I would have been able to stay longer!
