Interaction with Guests
We are friendly and very knowledgeable about the local area. We love to meet and interact with our guests but are respectful of their privacy.
Only a few minutes walk away from beautiful Marcus Beach. There are plenty of walking trails in the dunes of the national park just down the street.
We are very lucky to be right on the 'Humpback Whale Highway', where we see whales migrate past our beaches on their way north in June and July and return with their new young in September to November. An early morning stroll on the beach during this time may be highlighted by seeing a pod swimming and playing off-shore.
Close to Noosa and even closer to Peregian Beach, where there are lovely cafes, restaurants and some great little shops, including our favourite fruit and veggie shop and book seller. Brisbane is only an hour and a half away.
The bus to Noosa is very close to our house. You can easily walk the 3km to Peregian Beach along the beach. Good excuse to stop for a coffee!

About the Host, Bruce And Irene
We have hosted many Air bnb guests and have always enjoyed the experience. We have recently renovated the downstairs of our home to offer a more private space to comfortably accommodate guests. Bruce is true Aussie and Irene, who was born in the Netherlands, emigrated from Canada 20 years ago. We love our beach, our dogs, our chickens and growing our own food. We are friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about our corner of paradise.
