My parents have three loft apartments available for rent in central Sopot. The apartments are based in a residential part of Sopot, with only 10 minute walk to the centre and the beach.

The space

The apartments are new, fully furnished and fully equipped.
The presented apartment has two double bedrooms, kitchen, dining room and a bathroom. There are quite narrow and steep stairs that lead up to this apartment. This apartment has stunning view over the bay.

Other things to note

When you are in Sopot we also recommend you visit the Aqua Park.

Kornelia's flat was very artistic and cosy. Perfect location with a lovely view! 5 minutes walk to the train/tram station and only around 1km to the beach and the famous pier! There is a Lidl, Biedronka, bakery and Pierogi bar in close vicinity to the flat. We travelled with our little two year old daughter and her grandparents. Kornelia was really helpful in accommodating our needs, she kindly provided a cot bed (newly bought, with newly bought bedding!!!) and high chair, and on the day of arrival her dad had even built and installed a stair gate! A few things to note - it may not be clear from the photos but there are no doors to the bedrooms. As we are all family, we didn't mind. There are no blinds in the windows. The stairs into the apartment are fairly steep, but not a problem if you are fully mobile. Kitchen is pretty basic but we managed to prepare a few meals there! It could do with some more utensils, and toaster. With that said, we didn't ask for any of those items but I'm sure if we had, they would have been provided (like when we asked for a bottle opener). Unfortunately there is no onsite parking, so you have to park on the street which can be tricky at times. Overall we loved our time here and I would highly recommend Kornelia's place. Very well hosted and we felt very well looked after. Definitely will have it in mind when traveling to Sopot again.

Kornelia's loft apartment was just as you see in the photos. Two views were missing. The kitchen should be included so that you are aware of the self catering facilities available. We were missing a toaster but Kornelia provided one on asking. The staircase accessing the apartment could do with being displayed so that guests with mobility problems are not caught out. You do need to be fit and well to gain access. It was a joy to stay in the apartment. The location is ideal for the forest opera where we went to see Kraftwerk. I would recommend a welcome pack for guests with information on local attractions, emergency facilities, and a detailed explanation of the key code system. I didn't really understand how to use the key code and got away with using the gate for vehicles to bypass the pedestrian gate lock. My luck ran out on the night of the Kraftwerk concert when we arrived back so late the main front door was locked and I had to use the code to gain entry to the building. I eventually realised that what I took to be either a number scribbled out or another number written over a previous number was in fact a symbol I needed to enter! The WiFi was great but needed to be reset by switching off and on once and it was only by chance we found where the router was located. I needed an emergency dentist on a Sunday which is an absolute no no in Poland as most medical facilities are shut. It was necessary to get to Gdansk to find H Centrum dentist to assist me, found by trying to get to Accident and Emergency and going for a drink in a restaurant by the hospital who (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN)d information on the dentist. I might have only needed to go to A and E to get the antibiotics I needed in the end. Is there a state dentist open on a Sunday for chronic toothache arising from an abscess, I still don't know, but such information would be useful in a welcome pack. Also the getting from Gdansk airport to the apartment could have been a lot easier had I been given the guidance to take the 122 bus from the airport getting off after passing the university. You could either get off at the forest opera stop or the sports stadium stop with just a short walk to get to the street where the apartment is located either way. Instead we got off after just arriving in Sopot and had to walk up a steep hill to Sopot Centrum and then we turned right instead of left to find ourselves in the main square before following roads to get to the underpass near the apartment. Had we known to turn left and then turn right and walk under the rail station platforms we would have quickly arrived at the same underpass that leads to the street where the apartment...

excellent value and great location (only a short walk from the main street with bars and resturant).. .. our hosts were very helpful when we had a few minor queries.. .. we would certainly recommend (although being an attic flat there is a slight access issue for the elderly or infirmed).. ..
